The weekend begins on Friday May 23 at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, IL with a $1,500 to win, followed by a trip on Saturday May 24 to Fairbury s American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, IL for the inaugural Gary Cook, Jr. Memorial, paying $2,064 to win. The weekend will conclude on Sunday May 25 at Vermilion County Speedway in Danville, IL for the first ever Kim Henderson Memorial, paying $3,000 to win. The trip for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series to Farmer City Raceway will be the tour s second ever visit to the track that saw Jeff Leka of Buffalo, IL win the tour s only other visit to the track back in 2013. The trip to Fairbury s American Legion Speedway will be the tour s second ever visit to that track as well, as Jeff Curl of Forrest, IL won the tour s only other visit there back in 2013. The tour returns to Vermilion County Speedway for the third time in series history, but there are no previous winners as both of those previous visits resulted in cancellations due to inclement weather back in 2010. The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will compete at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, IL on Friday May 23. The event will feature the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and a 30 lap, $1,500 to win/$200 to start A-Main contest. Other divisions joining the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series at Farmer City Raceway on Friday May 23 will be the track s UMP Super Late Models, UMP Street Stocks, and UMP Hornets.
