Additionally, because of our coach to student ratio, space at times may be limited. Session Cost: Target and All Certification Levels: $50.00 YMCAWCF member / $75.00 Non-Member The First Tee 2018 Session Schedule Session 1: January 7 February 23 Session 2: February 25 April 20 (No classes March 25-30, Spring Break) Session 3: April 22 June 8 (June- August: See YMCA Summer Camp schedule) Class Details: 7 week sessions/ students attend one day a week, 1 ½ hours day. Program Curriculum: Developmentally based, supporting golf skills development and life skills (character) development, such as; interpersonal relationships, self-management, goal setting & resistance skills. Program Progression: : The First Tee Program is designed for students to proceed at their own pace. Therefore, some students may enroll in the same class for more than one session in order to master the proper skills before moving to the next level. Once a student masters the skills in the Front 9 session of a class they will move into the Back 9 session of the class.

TFTL INSTRUCTION CLASSES Introduction Class: Target (Ages 6-7) This level is designed to introduce youth to the game of golf while making it fun. Coaches may use the SNAG (Starting New at Golf) equipment designed by The First Tee to help encourage success and fun rather than frustration or fear of failure at this early age. It is recommended students who currently have their own equipment, only bring a maximum of 4 clubs to class; a putter, 1 short iron, 1 long iron and 1 from the following- hybrid/3 wood or driver. Monday 5:30-7:00pm/ Thursday 5:30-7:00 pm Program Certification Levels (ages 8-14) PLAYer (Level 1) This is the first certification level of The First Tee program. All students, ages 8 and older, regardless of golf-skill level, will begin at the PLAYer level. Here they are introduced to basic golf swing fundaments, life skills, healthy habits and the game of golf! It is recommended students who currently have their own equipment, only bring a maximum of 5 clubs to class; a putter, 1 short iron, 1 long iron and 2 from the following- hybrid/3 wood or driver. Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays 5:30-7:00pm Saturdays 9:00-10:30am Par (Level 2) The Par level is the second certification level. Students must have successfully completed the PLAYer level before enrolling in the Par class. Participants will be exposed to rules of the game, formats of play, etiquette and traditions of the game. It is recommended students who currently have their own equipment, only bring a maximum of 6 clubs to class; a putter, 1 short iron, 1 mid iron, 1 long iron and 2 from the followinghybrid/3 wood or driver. It is recommended students who are at the Par level seriously consider playing the Central Florida Junior Golf Tour. This level of competition will prepare the student for middle school or high school golf. Tuesdays or Thursdays 5:30-7:00 pm Saturdays 9:00-10:30am Birdie (Level 3) The Birdie level is designed for the more advanced junior golfer who has completed the Par level. Students will build upon the lessons learned in the Par level and focus on the skills and strategies necessary to play good course management. It is recommended students who are at the Birdie level seriously consider playing the Central Florida Junior Golf Tour. This level of competition will prepare the student for middle school or high school golf. Mondays or Tuesdays 5:30-7:00 pm Eagle (Level 4) The Eagle level is designed for the most advanced golfers who have completed the Birdie level successfully. The Eagle level is designed to help students gain a better understanding and prepare them for competitive tournaments and league. Class day & time TBD, based on participation. ABOUT THE FIRST TEE OF LAKELAND... Since 2005, The First Tee of Lakeland has provided more than 10,000 young people of all ages and backgrounds an opportunity to develop life-enhancing values through the game of golf. The Life Skills experience is one of the unique features that separate The First Tee from many other junior golf programs. The First Tee Life Skills experience is used to further enhance and instill the inherent values of the game of golf, and show participants how these values transfer into other aspects of their lives. Students are taught how to make decisions by thinking about the possible consequences, how to set goals, how to define those goals, the importance of maintaining a positive attitude as well as the importance of showing respect for others. The First Tee s nine core values: Honesty Respect Sportsmanship Integrity Confidence Perseverance Judgment Courtesy Responsibility The First Tee s nine healthy habits: Physical: Energy, Play, Safety Emotional: Vision, Mind, Family Social: Friends, School, Community

ADDITIONAL GOLF PROGRAMS LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Lakeland An opportunity for girls to learn to play golf, build lasting friendships and experience competition in a fun, supportive environment preparing them for a lifetime of enjoyment with the game. The Girls Golf class for ages 6 and older is for girls who are new to golf or are building their confidence with the game and golf skill concepts. The Advanced eleaders class is for girls at an advanced stage in their golf development and will be advancing to middle/high school or tournament competitions. The eleaders will also be encouraged to mentor the younger participants. Instruction provided by an all-female staff with LPGA Teaching Professional, Suzanne Walker. Sessions: Session 1: January 17- February 28 Session 2: March 14- May 2 (No class on March 28) Summer Camps: June 2019 (See YMCA Summer Camp schedule for details) Meets: : Thursdays, Girls Golf class 4:00-5:00pm & Advanced eleaders class from 5:00-6:30pm Cost per 7-week session: Girls Golf Class: $40 Member/ $65 Non-Member eleaders Advanced Girls Golf Class: $50 M / $75 NM Member Annual Registration: *FREE* Each participant is required to register online at www. lpga.com/girlsgolf for our Lakeland, FL site and will receive an LPGA-USGA Girls Golf membership kit. Ladies Clinics 2nd & 4th Friday of each month; 10-10:45am Ladies only, space is limited and advance registration is required. Take part in a half-hour Women s only golf clinic, then head out and play a few holes in this FUN welcoming environment with your friends. Open to all levels of golf skill. Equipment available, as needed. Topics vary. Meets: January through June Ages: 18 and over Cost: $8 Members/ Non-members $15 (includes Women s only clinic and on-course play) Mens Clinics (ages 18 and up) 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month; 1:30-2:30pm Men only, space is limited and advance registration is required. Take part in a 1 hour golf clinic, then head out and play a few holes in this welcoming environment to learn the game of brush up on some skills. Open to all levels of golf skill. Equipment available, as needed. Topics vary. Meets: January through June Ages: 18 and over Cost: $10 Members/ Non-Members $20 (Includes golf clinic and on-course play)

Private Golf Lessons Looking to improve your game and shoot lower scores? Contact our golf professionals to help refine your skills. Our golf lessons can be tailored to children and adults based on their skill levels. Get Golf Ready Classes For the beginning golfer and adults only. Become course-ready in a series of 5 group sessions. Learn how to play golf and how to be prepared for that first round out with friends and family. Equipment is available as needed. 1 hour group class, need at least 3 adults registered to start a series- so, bring a few friends! Session dates: Session #1: January 19- February 16/ Session #2: March 9- April 6 Week 1: The Hole is the Goal Week 2: Getting it Close Week 3: Swing, Swing, Swing Week 4: Driving School Week 5: Ready, Set Go Golf! Meets: Saturdays, 12:00 p.m. - 1:00pm Cost: $100 Members & $125 Non-Members Instructor: YMCA Par 3 Teaching Instructors Adult Mixed League (ages 18 and up) Men and women are welcome to join us for this 18-hole league. Closest to the pins and Individual Point Quota is the weekly game and points are averaged by the last 5 play days. Scoring is as follows; Dbl. bogey ½ pt, Bogey 1 pt, Par 2 pts, Birdie 4 pts, Eagle 8 pts. Fun team scrambles start and finish each season. Come out and join us for a little friendly competition. Meets: Monday mornings from 9:00-11:30am Season: January-April Cost: $5 Members/ Non-Members $15 (includes game and golf) Ladies Golf League (ages 18 and up) Ladies come out and join a fun 9-hole league for women only. The cost covers golf fees, weekly game prizes and a chip-in pot. Come as a single golfer or with a friend and you will be paired up with ladies just like yourself, of all skill levels, looking for fun and fellowship. Season: October through December Meets: Thursday mornings from 9:00-11:00am Weekly Cost: $2.25 Members / Non-Members $12.25 Includes game and golf. $1.00 goes to the weekly game and $0.25 for chip-in pot

Golf Family FUN Day Format: FUN 9 Holes, Gross Score Team game, different format each month. Teams can be made up of any 2-Player family combination of a youth (17 and under) and an adult (18 and older). Two youth may play together if one of them has played in a Central Florida Junior Golf Tour event or has reached The First Tee Birdie level and must be accompanied by an Adult on the course. One adult may play with two youths and will play two balls. All levels of skill welcome, but golf experience is required! Meets: Monthly on fourth Saturday, 11:00am - 1:30pm January 26 February 23 March 23 April 27 May 25 Celebrating Mothers June 22 Celebrating Fathers Cost: $8 each player Members/ $15 Non-Members / Includes game fee, refreshments, awards

TFTL Junior Tournaments A new opportunity to get the younger participant confident playing on-course in an organized setting. Participants will provide their own Caddy. This will be a fun competitive atmosphere with boys and girls playing together. All participants must register in advance. Barkley, Bean, Bryant & Friends Ages up to 7 years plays 3 holes with a Caddy Ages 8-10 plays 6 holes with a Caddy Ages 11-12 plays 6 holes (Caddy optional) Meets: Saturday; February 9 and May 4, 11:00am Start Cost per event: $8 Members/ $15 Non-members Adaptive Golf Program (ages 8 and up) A specifically designed golf instructional program for individuals with physical and mental disabilities. Some participants go on to compete in the Special Olympics! Plus there is an annual tournament, glow golf and fun events held each year. Due to teacher-student ratio, limited space is available. Program Coordinator: Sharon Anderson-Brooks. Meets: Wednesdays, 6-7pm Cost: No cost to participants in this program CFJGT Winter Series The Central Florida Junior Golf Tour is a developmental junior golf tour for youth ages 8-18 and plays tournaments around Central Florida. This year will mark the 14th year of our Junior Tour which is a program of the YMCA Par 3. Register for tournaments by calling 863-577-0236. Charles Barkley, Andy Bean, Brad Bryant and special guests from the Champions Golf Tour will be here playing golf and showcasing some of our very own participants in The First Tee of Lakeland. A fun-filled day you do not want to miss! The CAN-AM Challenge Monday, March 5 / 9am-12:30pm All skill levels welcome! You ve all had months to prepare and now it s time for the big challenge, the Americans vs. the Canadians! In a fun team format, these two great nations will battle it out on the links for pride, glory and bragging rights. Dressing up and supporting your home-land is encouraged. After golf we will have a pot-luck lunch and trade stories from the round and wish our northern friends a safe journey home. Cost: $8 Members/ $15 Non-members

FOOTGOLF Free for Members Non-Member Rates Adult: $12 Senior (65 +): $10 Youth: $8 Ball Rental: $5.00 with an ID on Hold FOOTGOLF Open Play YMCA Par 3 is unique as it has the only FootGolf course between Tampa and Orlando! We want players of all ages and soccer skills to come out and explore the course for yourselves and see how much fun and exercise you can squeeze into an afternoon of organized play. The course is 9 holes, but your fee covers the cost to play it twice for 18 holes, a full round. Bring a soccer ball, a few friends or family members and have a blast! Friends and families of all ages are welcome!
