BB Blaze 9 April 2016 Team 1 - Nigel 4G (Captain), Xandric 4I, Ding Han 3G, Samson 2B and Adrial 2G Team 2 - Shamir 4E (Captain), Geoffrey 4C, Michael 3G, Ezekiel 3F and Xue Rong 4B A total of 124 teams from over 65 schools across Singapore came down to Springfield Secondary on 9 Apr at 4:00am on Saturday for the start of the race, where we hosted the event. Our boys did us proud in the competition - Springfield Team 1 came in 10th place out of 124 teams, while Team 2 was close behind in the Top 20. Both teams made it into the Gold Honour Roll, ranking high amongst more established Companies. 2

SILVER AWARD Bryson Lim (3F) Vanessa Sim (3F) Choy Wen Kang (3G) East Zone A*STAR Science Fair 29 July 2016 Springfield took part in the annual East Zone A*STAR Science Fair 2016 at Victoria Junior College. A record total of 81 teams from 30 schools took part this year. Students were required to brainstorm, research, design & conduct a thorough scientific investigation before drafting a poster and delivering a presentation to a panel of scientists and academics.
