Be Prepared for Cold, Wind or Wet! FROM THE LSFSC PRESIDENT By Rock Rotten SASS # 90073 It s pretty much winter now and as you all know, Rock does not do well in the cold. But this also means we have only one Lone Star Monthly Match left this year and I hope to make it a good one. As most of you are aware, we are having a special shoot for our December Match (13 th & 14 th ) especially for Club Members but of course, everyone is invited to participate. It s a two day shoot and we will shoot the same stage scenarios both days. This is an opportunity to show your very best as we will use your best score for each stage as the final score in the weekend tally. Look for some fun stages with bonuses and unknown extras thrown in including some nice door prizes. I suggest bringing a few extra shotgun shells and a mouth full of trash - Cowhand. This is a free shoot for our members. All others, well, we ll just see how generous Cowtown Jack, Ben Scalped, and I are feeling. We can be bribed. Be sure to get there early as Chula Kat will be whipping up a fine breakfast for all on both mornings. She figures on serving around 8:30 am. FROM The CVV President By Billy Bob Evans SASS# 53658 Hi all, hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and enjoyed the holiday. Our Saturday match ended up being canceled Due to only me and Goatneck showing up. The interesting thing was, we got NO rain at the range, not a drop, it was perfect weather for shooting. So we did a little rearranging of the Wild Bunch targets and tested some new scenarios. Then we shot a few rounds with my new BAMM rifle. Funny thing about BAMM rifle, if you have just one in your safe no problem, but if you add a second one, then they tend to multiply like rabbits and before you know it, you got five, six or more. The weather for our Sunday match was just as good, we had a good turn out and got finished before the wind hit. Attached is a copy of our membership renewal form, the dues pay for our insurance and range improvements. To date we have only received four membership renewals. You can mail it or bring it to the next match, I will bring forms to our December match.

But with my drive being a bit over an hour and half call the number listed in our newsletter will not work. The best way to get me to verify a CVV match is on or off is to call or text my cell phone. So if the weather is iffy and you want to check to see if the match is on or not, call or text me at 214-356-6766, if I am driving I will pull over and stop to reply to a text, so it may take a few minutes for me to able to reply.
Rock Rotten Continued We ll try and start shooting at our usual time of 9:30 am. Chula Kat will also have lunch but I figure that s gonna cost you a fiver. Please note that it is time to renew memberships for next year. We have 55 current club members. I would love to see more shooters join and I can guarantee free entry into the December fun shoot with a paid 2015 Membership. Membership fees pay for our insurance and electricity and are absolutely necessary to keep the club operating. Please get your fee paid as soon as possible. I laid it on pretty thick in my last newsletter about how proud I am of our club members, but I left something out. We owe a great big Thank You to Hot Tamale for her efforts on Stage 3. She took it upon herself and at her own expense to revamp the Tamale House and it sure makes a big difference. It really opens up the shooting line and will allow more varied scenarios. She no doubt had help with the carpentry and painting and we thank all those who took their time to assist. It takes special efforts by individuals from time to time to get some things accomplished. The dang political front is screaming at me from all directions, or more appropriately, mis-directions. Let s stir the pot, crank up the heat, and boil this puppy over so the people don t see what s really going down with our feckless, untrustworthy gubment. Instigate riots while you executive order amnesty. Blame whitey and the police while you build up boots on the ground in the Middle East (I thought we weren t going to do that). Stir the emotions of racism from your ivory tower of perfection while you re giving award MY hard earned tax dollars to illegal aliens. Can you say Nationalize the Police.? Not a good thing for sure. Our incompetent dear leader has placed all the so called down trodden people of the entire world in front of American citizens whose families fought and died for liberty, who bought and paid for the right to pursue the American Dream with their lives, and whose ancestors refused to live off charity. Far too many Americans have made careers living off the gubment dole and have developed a sense of entitlement our Founding Fathers would have equated to King George. They would never have tolerated the behavior of our Congress, Senate and Supreme Court how long are they going to be allowed to legislate from the bench? Although the Republicans have retaken the Senate and strengthened their hold on the House, the Republican Establishment leaves a lot to be desired. They are way too middle of the road (centrist) on ALL the critical issues and have no valid plans to turn this country around. They are completely disorganized and very few are even on the same page. We need the Conservative arm of the party to take charge and meet these progressive, liberal, socialist, commie democrats head on with everything we ve got and lay the plans of the left threadbare. The thing I find so very hard to believe is how so many people, with all the lies clearly exposed, still support these evil elitists. What s is going to take to get people motivated on the REAL issues based on FACTS instead of wasting time and energy on FAKE issues based on FEELINGS? Two more years of this worthless POS POTUS, two more I hope our country can take it. Ammo, gold, silver, survival supplies. Two more years. Let s pray they underestimate the silent majority like they did when Ronald Reagan knocked their socks off. Two more years. WooHoo. Now I m ready to desensitize myself by playing some Call of Duty. But first let me say, this shooter supports our police; this shooter understands the stress of their job for low pay; and this shooter realizes if you don t start no crap, there won t be no crap. So hug a policeman today. Two Gun? Do you need a hug? Bullets still fire in the winter and your firearms stay hungry. Fire up that reloader, add a few grains of powder and let s all exercise our 2 nd Amendment Right. Hell, we all need to Booty Pop our 2 nd Amendment Rights.
