FUNTASTICS Special Athletes Team Ages 6 & UP Information Packet 2016 2017 www.funtastics.com 941.925.9895 5330 Pinkney Ave #6 Sarasota 34233

Welcome to Funtastics! Funtastics carries a 20-year tradition into the 2016/2017 season!! We welcome you to the area s original and BEST All Star Cheerleading Program. Each year we field several teams in different levels and have won countless local, regional, and national titles as you will see hundreds of trophies, plaques and banners lining the walls of our facility. This season we are excited to be bring back our Special Athletes Team for boys and girls, ages 6 and up (no maximum age). Most importantly we are a family friendly program and we encourage our cheerleaders to work hard and have fun in the process. Enclosed you will find information and policies regarding our 2016/2017 All Star Cheerleading program. Please review the packet thoroughly and be sure to ask if you still have any questions! It is our goal at Funtastics to provide a positive learning environment to help each athlete achieve their goals. We want every cheerleader to excel not only in all aspects of the sport, but to learn life lessons concerning work ethic, commitment, dedication, perseverance, friendship, respect and team work! Throughout a person s life, they will be put in situations where they must sacrifice to reap the rewards. Whether in school, careers, marriage or family life- team work is a lifetime lesson that becomes much more valuable than tumbling skills. The most important thing we hope our athletes leave our gym with is learning about sportsmanship, working together towards a common goal, and winning and losing like a champion! All Funtastics coaches are highly committed to the sport of cheerleading, and are required to continue their education by attending workshops, clinics, and camps. Additionally, first aid, CPR, and Safety Certification are required of all staff. We are confident that you will see individual improvement in skill level and confidence as the season progresses, but success and confidence you experience as a result of hard work is the ultimate reward. By choosing Funtastics for your athlete s cheerleading training, you are choosing a program that does not promote winning at all costs. Sportsmanship, integrity and treating others with respect come first. We are very blessed to have wonderful athletes and families in our program each year. Our goal is for our teams to be more successful each year, and we welcome you in joining us in our quest for excellence! Thank you, Dustin Edwards d.edwards.ff@gmail.com
