Aluminum surfaces shall be treated with materials conforming to MIL- C-5541 or equivalent. Page 1

Instructions for Use Mixing Instructions: 1-Step mixing (mixed in base container): Slowly add the entire catalyst component to the base component. Add approximately 4.5 parts distilled or deionized water to the can containing the base and catalyst components. Secure the can lid and place on paint shaker in an inverted position for 10-15 minutes. Do not shake longer than 15 minutes. Primer is now ready for use. Typical application viscosity should be 20 ± 2 seconds in a # 2 EZ Zahn Cup. Constant agitation is recommended. Add small amounts of water if necessary to achieve desired viscosity. A slight variation in the amount of water is normal. For best results in mixing 5-gallon pails (1FK), stir the base component until homogeneous prior to mixing. Add the catalyst component to the base component and stir until homogeneous prior to the addition of the water. To the catalyzed primer, slowly add the water in one-third increments, mixing thoroughly after each addition, until fully incorporated and homogeneous. Kit Size 44GN007 Base 44GN007CAT D.I.
