INFORMATION BULLETIN 1 EUROPEAN JUNIOR ARTISTIC SYNCHRONISED SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2019 from 18 th to 23 rd June in Prague, Czech Republic
Dear Friends, the Czech Swimming Federation on behalf of the Ligue Européenne de Natation (LEN) has the pleasure to invite all federations to participate in the European Junior Artistic Synchronised Swimming Championships in Prague (CZE) from 18 th to 23 rd June 2019. The Championships will be held in accordance with the FINA and LEN rules and regulations. We are looking forward to seeing you in Prague!
Organizing Committee Organizing Committee (OC) will be in charge of the preparations and the organization of EJC 2019 in Artistic Synchronised Swimming under the control and supervision of the LEN Bureau and LEN Technical Committee. The venue has already hosted several international events like the European Synchronised Swimming Cup 1998 and European Junior Swimming Championships 2009. Eligibility Age Athletes 15 18 years on 31 December 2019. Entries Please note the following deadline dates: March 10, 2019 The first Preliminary entry form and judges nomination is to be submitted to LEN and OC. The Preliminary Accommodation booking form and a 50 % deposit of the Accommodation payment are to be submitted to OC as well. April 5, 2019 Final Booking Form and Travel form is to be submit ted to OC. This is also the deadline for paying the remainder of the Accommodation payment. May 25, 2019 Final entry form, with accredit ation form and photo, is to be submit ted to LEN and OC. In addition, the rooming list and the music are to be submitted to OC. All forms can be found on the web page w w w.prague2019.cz Accreditation Federations entering the European Junior SY Championships will receive accreditation free of charge for the following members of their team: President of the Federation Head of Delegation Competitors A physician Team staff members: o 5 for up to 5 competitors o 6 for up to 8 competitors o 7 for more than 8 competitors However, the number of team staff members may not exceed the number of competitors. Team staff members include anyone servicing the team: Team Leaders, Chaperones, Coaches, Physiotherapists, Interpreters, etc. Officials such as judges are not considered as team stuff members. Accommodation In order to ensure the most favourable prices, the OC is directly in charge of the accommodation process for the participants. Single, Twin and Triple rooms will be available. The reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of Hotel Accommodation Form and required payment. Official transportation and the full board will be provided only to those who make their booking through the OC.
The reservations will be made on a first come first served basis. The rates are per person per night, including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Transportation from the official hotels to the competition venue and back will be provided for training and competition days from June 16 th 23 rd 2019. A complete schedule of transportation will be posted at the information desk in the official hotels and also at the competition venue. Music Passport check The Head of Delegation must present the passport of each team member before collecting the accreditation cards. The data on accreditation card will be compared to the data on valid passports of all participants and staff members. Entry visas Citizens of countries needing an entry visa to the Czech Republic are requested to contact the OC. We will provide an official invitation letter and will do our best to help obtaining entry visas. All applications for visa shall be made in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Czech Republic. In order to avoid administrative problems when requesting visa, please contact the Embassy or Consular Authorities of the Czech Republic within your country in due time prior to your planned departure to the Czech Republic. Awards Medals will be awarded to the competitors placed 1st 3rd in each event. Diplomas shall be awarded to the competitors placed first to eight. National Anthems Instructions will be forwarded in the Bulletin #2. Supervision of the Event Management Committee: the LEN Technical Committee Jury of Appeal: will be in accordance with LEN Rules and Regulations. Insurance Insurance of the participants is upon the sole responsibility of the respective Federation. Medical service The organizer guarantees that medical staff (ambulance included) will be available throughout the duration of the Event. For the sake of clarity duration of the Event means 2 hours prior to the start up to 2 hours after the closing of the Event by the Referee. Next bulletin Bulletin #2 will be published at the end of March 2019. The performance music should be prepared according to the FINA rules AS 15.3 Method 2. Team managers/coaches are responsible for submitting their music electronically in.mp3 format. Each submission shall be labelled as to event, name of the competitors and national federation.
