Bib Numbers Timing Chips Registration Timing for the 2019 H H Marathon will be done by Race Time. For further details about the timing company please visit www.theracetime.com. h marathon and 5K are chip timed. ½ mile run is not timed. Your timing chip is located on the back of your race bib. Please do not remove the chip or bend your bib number. chip is a UHF RFID tag. For the chip to read accurately the bib should be attached to the front of the runner and be visible when crossing the starting and finish timing mats. Space blankets dampen the sign so please do not cross the starting line wrapped in a space blanket. chip is disposable and does not need to be returned. Bib numbers are NON-TRANSFERABLE. unauthorized selling and/or giving away of a bib number is not allowed and will result in disqualification of both the original bib owner and the runner using the bib number. Both runners will be prohibited from participation in a Runtastic Events race for a minimum of one year. Please use the transfer/deferral process provided if you need to sell/transfer your race bib. Online registration closes on June 28th at 5pm. For those of you that can t make a decision until the LAST minute, you can register at the race expo. re is no day of registration for the h marathon or 5K. H H Medal Series H H medals were inspired by the spectrum referenced by the autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Autism is known as a spectrum disorder because there is a wide variation in the type and severity of symptoms people experience. phrase on the spectrum inspired our designers to create a different kind of spectrum that everyone could relate to: spectrum of love. This year, we are focusing on the Understanding aspect of ASD. People s understanding of individuals with Autism and how to best love and help them, can be expanded as they strive to know more about Autism. By turning the gears in indivudals minds, they can reach a point of better understanding the challenges and triumphs of this disorder. Understanding Autism and its many facets can be greatly beneficial to ASD children, teenagers, and adults alike. our Cause Meet Grace Want to know who you can help by running the H H Run for Autism? Meet Grace! At Kids On Move, our mission is simple: to support the healthy development of young children and families. We empower families, one kid at a time, to lead more successful lives and to be less dependent on government assistance. To fulfill our mission, we provide innovative, high-quality services through four major service programs: Early Head Start, Early Intervention, KOTM Autism Center, and Respite Care. At Kids On Move we change the trajectory of a child s development and help them advance in line with typically developing peers. For more information about Kids On Move or to make a donation, call 801-221- 9930 for a free consultation. Grace is the youngest child in a family of 6. At 18 months old, she was found to be on the autism spectrum. From there, she was enrolled in ABA therapy to help her development as she grew up. Grace was exposed to as many things as possible that other children enjoyed and engaged in without any difficulties. Over the last six years of intense therapy, Grace has attempted and enjoys flying a kite, playing baseball and basketball, ice skating, riding her bike, hiking, skiing, paddle boarding, rock climbing, roller coaster rides, river rafting, indoor hockey, reading books, singing songs, playing Super Heroes, miniature golf, sledding, dancing, and being with her friends and family. She wants to learn to play the guitar, and to learn to fly an airplane. To see her share her world with everyone she meets and to know she is no longer trapped and locked away in her world fills her family with immense joy. hh.com 10
