They donated 4 large planters filled with beautiful flowers that his wife created. They weren t through there, Shane provided us three of his employees to paint the rails, the snack bar and the patio area of the club. Also, I want to thank Mike & Elaine Nolan for helping us get the baby pool repaired and up and running. I feel the need to recommend Laura Baxter if you are ever in need of blinds for your house, her company is responsible for the new blinds we have added throughout the entire clubhouse, they look wonderful and I thank her as well for a job well done! It is hot as can be and our greens love it! Our first aerification was a great success! The greens were fully recovered in 10-11 days! Fairway and Tee aerification also went very good! The rest of the course is doing great too. Although, as I write this the grass is beginning to grow so fast it will be hard for us to keep up! Roughs are the most difficult area on the course to keep up with, but it is a lot easier to do when it is not raining everyday like July 09! Although, a little rain would be nice! We are still fighting a battle with weeds but we should turn the corner here pretty soon. I hope everyone has a great Summer and remember, stay hydrated!
