April 26, 2009 Durham Ferry Thirty six old western shootists grinned their way through a fun shoot at Durham Ferry on the fourth Sunday in April. About a half dozen of those folks graced Durham Ferry with their presence after shooting the match at Arroyo Cantua. Nate Clayton and Wobblin Bob tooth and nailed it through all six stages with Nate prevailing at the end by sixty one hundredths of a second. A relative new comer to the game, Doc Burwood, was less than two and a half seconds behind and was the stage winner on stages five and six. Sweet Tooth Kelly took the Frontier Cartridge category but the competition in Frontier Cartridge was between German Jim and Gordon Two Shirts. German Jim finished thirty seven hundredths of a second ahead with both narrowly edging Dragon who was shooting in the Senior Dualist category won by Blaz N Bill. That s how it was Down By The River.
