Demand mostly moderate. Movement was moderate to fairly active with most deliveries of previously contracted or purchased hay. Prices fully steady. Statewide rains improved pastures and crops in western Oklahoma but curtailed hay and livestock movement in most central and eastern counties. Green-up is well underway in southern and south central Oklahoma. Alfalfa Central Oklahoma: Premium quality 200.00-230.00, mostly 200.00-210.00. Good quality 180.00-200.00. Fair quality 150.00-170.00. Eastern Oklahoma: No recent sales confirmed. Western Oklahoma: Premium quality large square bales 200.00-230.00, mostly.200.00-210.00. Good quality 180.00-200.00. Demand moderate. Receipts this week consisted of 100 percent over 600 lbs and 55 percent heifers. Unless otherwise stated prices are FOB weigh point with a 2-3 percent shrink or equivalent and with a 8-12 cent slide on calves and 4-8 cent slide on yearlings from base weights.
