AYSO PHILOSOPHIES

EVERYONE PLAYS All players play at least one half of a game No one plays a full game until all have played 3 quarters

BALANCED TEAMS 7U-14U rosters formed based on player ratings Player ratings completed by Coaches Coaches can request another coach however no other requests can be honored 6U Rosters formed based on school and home address

Registration opens May 15 th every year for Fall season Register for Fall Only or Fall and Spring Registration for Spring only begins in January No tryouts for any division

GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT All players develop their soccer skills and knowledge to the best of their abilities, both individually and part of a team, to maximize their enjoyment of the game In addition to soccer skills players are taught respect, sportsmanship, teamwork, and responsibility Professional Coaches run all programs at the Playground and Pre-K Levels. 6U coaches have the option. Professional Coaches host clinics for 7U-14U on variety of skills every week free of charge!! Coaches receive practice curriculum every week

PARENTS ROLES Cheer for BOTH teams. Recognize a great play. Always be positive Be enthusiastic Reinforce positive behavior Let coaches coach Remember the ref is a volunteer Don t forget this isn t the World Cup

PLAYGROUND DETAILS Program at Gallery Park Fields Saturday Morning 10am Parent Interactive program 6 week program Led by Professional Coach Ryan Anderson Pick up your t-shirt tonight Cleats and shin guards are optional Bring a soccer ball The Playground Soccer program introduces 3 year olds to soccer in a fun, pressure-free environment. Playground Soccer uses group activities, soccer themes, and parent participation to develop the fundamental motor skills that prepare kids for all sports. Players participate on a weekly basis with their parent (or other adult) working with them on the field.

5U PRESCHOOL DIVISION Gallery Park Fields 6 week program Boys 9am / Girls 1030am Shinguards are required. Soccer cleats are NOT required Bring a Size 3 soccer ball No jewelry may be worn Field assignments (#1-3 ) will be given when you arrive. NO set teams. 12-16 kids per field for practice Practice 30 minutes Professional Coaches run practices Players divided into teams of 4 5 Min water break 20-25 min game. Played 4v4 Pick up your uniform today!

AYSO EXTRA & INTERREGIONAL PROGRAM Interregional 14U program 7 th & 8 th Graders Compete against regions in the area All games count End of the season tournament and champion All games played Sunday Home Games played at Attea AYSO Extra program Travel competition within AYSO Area 10U & 12U divisions only Tryouts in the Spring Additional game and practice every week Professional Coaches for each team End of the season tournament and champion Indoor soccer season Girls 10U & Boys 12U 2017/18 Champions
