PRESFLO ELECTRONIC PUMP CONTROLLER Ideal solution for the control and protection of pumps used for: * Domestic water pressurization * Civil water plants * Garden water distribution The electronic PRESSURE- REGULATOR starts and stops the pump to which it is fitted as requested by users. It substitutes traditional pressure switch/surge tank systems while o f f e r i n g s e v e r a l i m p o r t a n t advantages such as - reduced dimensions - no maintenance requirements - constant flow - pump protection The electronic pressure-flow regulator monitors the pressure and flow rate in the system and protects the pump against dangerous working conditions such as dry running. When a tap is opened it starts the pump and keeps it running, delivering constant flow, even at low flow rates. It stops the pump when the flow rate demanded is near zero. S P R I N G L O A D E D WAT E R ACCUMULATOR A special, no maintenance, patens pending membrane guarantees a high level of protection against over pressure. During operation the pressure is clearly and accurately indicated on the LCD screen. SURGE TANK PRESFLO MULTI is fitted a surge tank wit a 3 litre capacity. Its substantial accumulation volume and ability to absorb over pressure, a typical characteristic of surge tanks, permits it to be used in installations where other pressure-flow regulators may prove inadequate. It is possible to set the tank pressure as desired according to the pumps start-up pressure selected, in order to guarantee optimum protection and accumulation performance. The integrated tank on the PRESFLO MULTI body, as well as reducing the dimensions, simplified the installation process and removes the laborious and expensive task of installing union tees, as is the case when installing small tanks seemingly cheaper pressure-flow regulators that do not incorporate and accumulator. 6
FLUX CONTROL SWITCH Ideal solution for * Water plants supplied by roof tank * Water plants supplied by low pressure aqueduct When the pressure available to users is insufficient, it is necxessary to install a booster pump. FLUX is an electronic device suitable designed to control the running/stopping of booster pumps. FLUX can be installed in any point of the line (on the suction line of the pump or downstream, provided it is upstream of all utilizations. On opening a tap, thanks to the pressure in the plant event when the pump is not running, a little flow rate is produced. As soon as this exceeds the running flow rate (Qm), FLUX detects it and starts the pump, thus assuring the necessary pressure in the plant. In case of leaks (little constant flow rates inferior to Qm) FLUX does not start the pump, avoiding useless power consumption. On closing the utilizations FLUX keeps the pump running for some seconds, then it stops it. Thanks to its performing check valve, FLUX can start the pump at the minimum water request (1-2 l/min) * FLUX can be installed horizontally, vertically or in any position respecting the flow direction. * FLUX protects the pump against dry running * FLUX is equipped a resin bonded electronic circuit (it is not subject to condensate) * FLUX is equipped status leads and stop/reset button * FLUX does not need maintenance * FLUX can be equipped a pressure reducing valve which installed downstream of the pump regulates and stabilizes the pressure generated by the pump.
