Texas Tech Football and Other Information 1. Friday Practice: Texas Tech will practice in Jones AT&T Stadium on Friday from 2:45 5:00pm 2. Uniforms: Red Jerseys, Red Pants, Black Helmets 3. Game Ball: Wilson 1005 Football 4. Texas Tech Home Dressing Room: Texas Tech s Dressing Room is located in the Southwest corner of Jones AT&T Stadium, below Section 28. Access to the Dressing Room is through Gate 1A. 5. Texas Tech Training Room: The main training room is located in the south end of Jones AT&T Stadium between the football locker rooms. Contact the Head Football Trainer for all medical and training needs. 6. Texas Tech Squad Will Call Pass Gate: Will Call for Texas Tech Squad is Gate 6A. A picture ID must be shown to pick up tickets per NCAA regulations. 7. Texas Tech Mascot: The rider and horse will lead the team on to the fi eld at the beginning of each half. It may also run on the West sidelines following a Texas Tech score; however, it will be accompanied by fi eld security. 8. Officials: The offi cials locker room is near the Texas Tech home locker room, located under Section 28 of the west side of the stadium. Enter through Gate 1A. Raider Alley Raider Alley is Texas Tech s offi cial tailgate party located just southwest of Jones AT&T Stadium. Raider Alley is free for the public and visiting fans are welcome. Raider Alley opens three hours prior to kickoff and provides fans the opportunity to buy food and drinks, listen to live music, and participate in fan interactive exhibits for all ages. We would love to see you and your family at Raider Alley this fall. Raider Village Raider Village is Texas Tech s corporate hospitality area. We invite your group to reserve a pre-game tailgate space in which you can entertain clients, employees, or fellow alumni. Visiting Team Game Day Information Stadium Entrance Visiting Teams: Visiting Teams unload buses at southwest corner of Jones AT&T Stadium (Boston Avenue and Drive of Champions). Enter stadium via Ramp 1A and walk across south end of stadium to Visiting Team dressing room. Parking for Visiting Team Buses: Visiting Team buses park at the southeast corner of Jones AT&T Stadium (University Ave. and 6 th St.) Parking for Visiting Team Automobiles: For automobile parking needs contact the Director of Media Relations. Visiting Team Equipment Truck: Two parking spaces will be held for your equipment truck and one other vehicle. Enter at University Ave. and 6 th St. Please do not move your equipment truck to the dressing room and/or down the ramp. (Contact Don Buck at 806-742-5111 x-229 for any other information regarding team equipment). Vehicles: Vehicles are not allowed on the stadium fl oor, playing fi eld, or in the ramp. Visiting Team Locker Room: The visiting team locker room is located under the stadium offi ces at the southeast corner of Jones AT&T Stadium under Section 24. Visiting Team Bench Area: The visiting team bench is located on the east sideline opposite the press box. The sideline is equipped with water, ice, electrical outlets, etc. The visitor s bench is equipped with six (6) lines with RJ-14 connectors, one (1) offensive ring down telephone and one (1) defensive ring down telephone. The electrical box is located on the 50-yard line. (Contact Don Buck for additional information 742-5111 x-229) Visiting Team Ticket Information and Will Call 1. Ticket booths open two hours (2 hrs.) prior to kickoff. 2. Sections 13, 116 and part of 122 are primarily designated for visitors seating (see map on page 10). 3. ADA seating is limited and must be requested in advance through the Ticket Offi ce. 4. Will call for players guests is located at Gate 4B. NOTE: A picture ID must be shown at the time of pick-up and all tickets will be distributed in accordance with NCAA regulations. 5. Children 2 years and older require a ticket to enter stadium. Visiting Team Credentials: Visiting team credentials should be coordinated with the Assistant A.D./ Media Relations (i.e. parking, bench, press box, fi lm crew, and radio). Visiting Media Will Call: Gate 1 Ticket Booth. Visiting Media Entrance: Gate 1B 4
Visiting Team Coaches Booth - 911: Located on the Press Level/West Stadium Building (WSB). Please use the WSB South Entrance elevator (#1) for access. (See map on page 12 for location) Visiting Team Athletic Director s Suite - 910: Located on the Press Level/WSB and accommodates 18 guests. Please enter through Gate 2 (main west entrance) and use elevators number 4 or 5. Credentials and parking passes will be mailed to you from our Media Relations Director. You will receive Stadium Club tickets which will allow you to eat at the buffet located on the Press Level. Visiting Team Radio - 912: Located on the Press Level/WSB. Friday Before Game Friday Practice: Texas Tech will work out on Friday from 2:45 5:00 p.m. If you desire a Friday practice time, contact Ron Damron (806-742-3355) and/or indicate on Visiting Team Travel Information form. Practices are not allowed prior to 5:00 p.m. Police Escort: The Lubbock Police Department will provide escorts for the visiting team to Jones AT&T Stadium. Entry into stadium may vary due to road construction and drop off points for band buses. Members not in uniform (i.e. sponsor) must have a ticket or credential to enter the stadium. The band will be seated in Section 13 and the spirit squad will be located with the band. Spirit squads are permitted to lead the team onto the fi eld prior to kick-off and prior to the beginning of the second half. Once the team is on the fi eld, the spirit squad must return to the Northeast corner of the stadium. No auxiliary or non-affi liated department spirit group(s) will be allowed onto the fi eld without prior approval. Visiting Team Mascot: All live mascots and/or mechanical/spirit devices to be brought into Jones AT&T Stadium must be approved in advance. All individuals associated with mascot/spirit devices must have a credential for access into the stadium. Weapons are not allowed in the stadium. Mascot is to remain in the area in front of the school s ticket allotment. At no time may the mascot perform or enter onto the playing field. 5
Texas Tech University Jones AT&T Stadium Policy (August 1, 2008) Stadium Entry: Only ticketed and credentialed individuals are permitted to enter Jones AT&T Stadium on game day. Security Screening: All patrons will be subject to security screening by Event Staff and Law Enforcement Offi cers, including pat downs and inspection of all bags and other property, and may be refused entry for possessing restricted items. Additionally, disorderly behavior may result in ejection from the stadium and possible arrest. Security measures will be consistently reviewed and are subject to change as conditions warrant. No one is allowed on the field during and/or after the game unless they have a purpose and credential to be there. Violators will be subject to possible penalties including judicial proceedings or loss of ticket privileges. Texas Tech University has an affi rmative obligation to structure local security and game management procedures to enforce conference standards. Pass-outs are permitted at Jones AT&T Stadium. Patrons with a ticket should exit through a main gate to receive a pass-out ticket or a hand-stamp Students should exit & enter via Gate 6. Items may not be brought into the stadium upon re-entry. Smoking: Jones AT&T Stadium is a smoke-free facility. Those fans wishing to smoke should exit through one of the main gates, where they will receive a pass-out ticket. This pass-out ticket and ticket stub will be required for re-entry. Firearms are not allowed in Jones AT&T Stadium. Throwing of objects is not allowed in stadium.
