Instructions for 2011 Non-Resident Application For Angling, Game Bird and Big Game Licences PRE-PURCHASE IS AN OPTION It is not necessary to pre-purchase your licence before you arrive in Manitoba. You may purchase your licence in person at most Conservation / Water Stewardship offices, including the main office at 200 Saulteaux Crescent in Winnipeg, or at one of the many private vendors located throughout Manitoba. Locations of vendors are available by phoning 1-800-214-6497. Or, as a non-resident hunter or angler, you can purchase your licence by submitting the following application to us at least 4 weeks before your expected arrival in Manitoba. HOW DO I PRE-PURCHASE After printing and completing your application, please mail it and your payment to: Cashier, Manitoba Conservation / Water Stewardship, #42, 200 Saulteaux Crescent, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, R3J 3W3. Or, fax your application (credit card payments only) to: Cashier, Manitoba Conservation / Water Stewardship, 1-204-948-2656. ALLOW 4 WEEKS FOR PROCESSING We receive our supply of angling licences in April and hunting licences at the end of July, and process all requests in order of receipt. Due to the high volume of applications, we request that you either mail or fax each application to us only once. We are unable to confirm receipt of your application (please do not phone). Please allow 4 weeks for your application to be processed and for the licences to be mailed to you. If you cannot forward the application prior to 4 weeks before your departure, then we recommend that you purchase your licences after you arrive in Manitoba. MIGRATORY PERMIT AND STAMP Manitoba Conservation completes and submits to the Government of Canada, a section of the Migratory Game Bird Permit and Stamp that includes some of the hunter s personal information provided on the application as well as the information requested on Page 2 of the application. If all of the information requested on Page 2 is not completed, we will be unable to provide you with a Migratory Game Bird Permit and Stamp.
