(www.nominate.com.au) Closing Date for entries: Wednesday 5th October 2016 Closing Date for Merchandise: 5th October 2016 (no entries will be accepted after this date except at the discretion of the committee) This competition is based on 1 horse per rider for the duration of the event and only competition horses will be allowed on the grounds. No competitors/horses will be allowed on grounds until Friday 28th October 2016 Gates will be open from 10:00am Enquiries to: graftonponyclub@live.com.au HENDRA vaccination is not required for this event is a fundraising initiative for Grafton Pony Club

Insurance: Any competitor who wishes to participate in The (known from this point on as 'the event') must complete the Release and Waiver of Liability form on the Nominate site when nominating. Only the nominated riding competitor can ride horses at any time during the competition. Teams a. Competitors may opt to compete on an individual basis or in a team. b. Individual competitors must have a responsible adult present on the grounds at all times that competition is in progress. c. Each team is to have a nominated Team Manager. Team names would be appreciated with nominations. d. Team Managers/responsible adults are to report to the office prior to commencement of the event. e. Team Managers/responsible adults must ensure that their riders' equipment is such that it will pass Pony Club SAFETY inspection, including as AS/NZ3838, ASTM F1163 or EN1384 approved safety helmet, irons (10mm each side of boot), sound stitching of reining, stirrup leathers and girths or they will not be permitted to compete. Refer to the Pony Club rulebook "The Blue Book". or go to www.pcansw.org.au. f. It is the Team Manager/Responsible Adults responsibility to ensure that all competitors are nominated in their correct classes/grades for Show Jumping and Dressage. For Jumping a copy of Pony Club grading card, EA grade or letter from qualified riding instructor must accompany nominations. g. Team Managers/responsible adults are responsible for the supervision and behaviour of competitor/s during competition. After dismounting all duty of care is handed back to the responsibility of parent/guardian. h. Disputes and protests - the Team Manager/responsible adult must present appeals in writing within 20 minutes of results being posted, together with a fee of $50.00 (refunded only if the protest is upheld), to the Secretary's Office. The dispute will be referred to the appropriate Head Steward and committee members. When the dispute has been answered the Team Manager/responsible adult will be called to the Secretary's Office to receive a reply. The committee's decision is FINAL. i. Team Managers/responsible adults are totally responsible for the conduct of their riders. Stewards will marshal riders to their events and reserve the right to stand down any rider whose conduct is inappropriate. TEAM MANAGERS/RESPONSIBLE ADULT MUST book in on arrival at the Secretary s Office 2

Refund Policy: a. Prior to the closing date a $20.00 administration fee will be charged and the balance of the money refunded. b. After the closing date a $30.00 administration fee will be charged and the balance of the money refunded on receipt of a medical or veterinary certificate within 7days of the end of the event. No refund will be given on dressage, jumping or team penning nominations. c. After the closing date the nomination fee will be forfeited if no medical or veterinary certificate is received as per above. d. Notification of scratching/refunds will only be accepted in writing via email/post to the event secretary. These notifications must include all supporting documentation. No refund will be provided without this documentation. e. No refund will be given on pre-paid merchandise. Rules & Regulations 1. Only competitors 18years and under may compete at "the event". 2. In the event of the challenge being oversubscribed, the Committee reserve the right to limit entries on the order received basis. 3. The Committee reserves the right to change the program, age groups, height classes if needed. 4. No Discussion will be entered into. 5. One (1) horse per rider only for the duration of the event. Any rider breaching this rule will be eliminated and their point score toward Championship placing's will be recorded as NIL. 6. Only the nominated rider competitor can ride horses at any time during the competition. 7. Only competition horses will be allowed on the grounds. Non competing horses will not be permitted on the grounds. 8. The age of competitors will be their age on the first day of competition. 9. No stallions permitted on the grounds. 10. All competitors must wear an AS/NZ3838, ASTM F1163 or EN1384 approved safety helmet. 11. The uniform of the day will be cream/white jodhpurs or cream/white stockman cut trousers. Approved smooth soled riding boots (no laces), approved safety helmet, button collared long shirt, jumper and tie. Competitors my ride in a collared polo shirt for the sporting events only. Riding coats will not be permitted in the ring. 12. Leather gaiters or long boots (not suede chapattis) may be worn by any competitor in all events. 13. The committee reserves the right to vet out any horse they deem unfit or unable to compete safely at any stage in any event. 14. Any ill treatment of horses will incur instant elimination. 15. Stewards will marshal riders to their events and reserve the right to stand down any rider found to have unsafe or inappropriate gear or whose conduct is inappropriate. 16. Ambulance cover is the responsibility of individuals. 17. All power cords and extension sets must have a current in date test tag displayed with the details of the testing officer displayed on the tag. Power leads must not be laid on vehicle or horse access routes unless they are suitable protected, ie covered with rubber matting. Anyone found not adhering to these rules will not be allowed to plug into the main power on the Grounds. 18. No dogs are permitted on the grounds at any time. 19. No pushbikes or scooters are permitted on the grounds at any time. 20. No Led Line at all - all children must be able to ride independently. 3

These are to made up as: 3x Junior Riders 8-12 years 3x Senior Riders 13 years & over Sporting events - run as per age groups, Boys & Girls separate Bend Flag Barrel Keyhole 3 Mug Race Relays - (see note below) Relays - Two groups per Team Can combine with other Teams to make up relay teams but must use all available riders from own Team first.
