The Leroy School Association 13613 Painesville-Warren Road Painesville, OH 44077 January 1, 2017 Dear Supporter of Education, The Leroy Elementary School Association will be hosting our Spring Carnival and Auction on Saturday April 8, 2017. This is our school s biggest fundraiser. It is a day filled with carnival style games and food that the children look forward to all year. We expect approximately 350 students, family members and community members to attend. Proceeds from the Carnival/Auction will be spent on the needs of our school, Leroy Elementary (Riverside School District). In the past, proceeds from the carnival have been used to purchase playground equipment, fund school field trips and build a greenhouse. This year the money will be used to supplement instructional needs in the classroom such as books, technology, and math tools/materials. All are used by the teachers and students on a daily basis and aide in student learning through engaging activities and lessons. We are hoping that you will choose to help our school with a cash or gift donation of merchandise and/or services. In acknowledgement of your generous donation we will recognize your contribution on our Leroy School PTO website and the event flyer which will reach the families of all students enrolled in our school, as well as during the raffle itself. Please feel free to also give us brochures or business cards which we can display at the event. We are a non-profit organization, thus all donations are tax deductible. Our tax ID number is 34-1852394. A tax-exempt certificate can be provided if necessary. Checks may be payable to the Leroy School Association. We will happily pick up donations that cannot be mailed.
