Milford Athletics Boosters Club Monthly Meeting October 7, 2015 Attendance: Mark Trout Bryan Yee Chris Swensen Dave Miranda Laura Dominique Nancye Bruck Justin Bonnell Mandy Kirk Secretary s Report Available on the website Treasurer s Report Baseball and Softball are in the red, but they will be back in the black soon with money coming in now. Very busy month Presented Current Liabilities -several accounts have purchases coming out Concessions Youth owes for 2 more weeks. Profits are up from last year. HOTDOGS are delicious, and volunteers are offering positive feedback on new prices. Advertising/Sponsorships Received checks from several large accounts Waiting on the pool scoreboard Craft Show Justin is starting a waiting list. Question was raised about raising the booth prices: discussion was about not seeing greedy. This is a great show and people want to be there. Parking-changes this year/next? Suggested we keep it the same for this year. Gate increased to $2.00 was voted and approved last meeting. Booth prices increased to $65, $75, $95, $130 was voted and approved. Soccer would like to change from parking to another volunteer option-mark will talk to Football about switching. Hall of Fame Discussion and vote was handled in Executive Board Meeting prior to General Meeting Mark has been asked to remind Dave every two weeks to get the plaques.

Season Tickets Memberships are up from last year Athletic Director s Report We did not qualify for the Ford funds this year. Mark donated $100.00 Gift Outback Steakhouse card to the Boosters. This will be used for Flight Night. Mark thanked us for all our time and effort. Mark requested the website bill be paid. Voted and approved the amount not to exceed $300.00. This will enable us to build our own website. Looking to launch after January with a better public interface. Old Business New Business Milford Foundation Dinner is November 7 at 7:00. Voted and approved to purchase a table for $450.00. Dates to Remember Craft Show 12-5-15 MHS Hall of Fame Night 2-5-16 Eagle Flight Night 3-10-16 Next Meeting 11-4-15 @ 7:00 p.m.

Milford Athletics Boosters Club Monthly Meeting November 4, 2015 Attendance: Mark Trout Bryan Yee Chris Swensen Dave Miranda Laura Dominique Nancye Bruck Justin Bonnell Mandy Kirk Secretary s Report Available on the website Treasurer s Report Available upon request-handed out to Board Members Considering moving banks/shopping banks-people s Bank is charging fees we do not agree with ($1300- $1500/year) Realistically looking to payoff loan for field approx. 16 months earlier than predicted Concessions Nothing new at this time Advertising/Sponsorships Nothing new at this time Craft Show 6:00am-3:30pm Justin has about 20 people on waiting list. Refund needed for a cancelled participant-he will get with Nancye to get this sent out. Essenza is setting up pictures in same area as last year for Santa pictures. Discussion on what teams are needed where the day of event. Justin will get maps copied. We will fold them at December s meeting. Mandy will meet Justin the day of the event to let him in the building (5:30am) Hall of Fame Mandy reminded Dave to get the plaques. All honorees have been notified. Flight Night Banner is made and will be hung in Fley Center/Gym Todd is trying to get tickets by Christmas. Discussion over ticket prices and table sizes. Todd is considering all options to make sure we utilize the space in the best possible way. Auction items were also discussed. Donor letters are going out soon. Athletic Director s Report Mark will order the police for Craft Show. Wrestling mats should be here by Monday. There was nothing new to report. Concessions Need water for Hall of Fame Wrestling was very busy this past weekend Advertising/Sponsorships Several organizations have reached out to Mark. Todd and Mark will follow up for Flight Night. Some advertisers are looking to come on this year and into next year. BWW-wing eating contest at halftime. They have been very supportive. They have a program called The Blazin Performer. Todd would like to have a plaque and promote our athletes and the business. If we mention the Boosters, we can get 10% back. Craft Show. Hall of Fame Event is this Friday. All Board members will be there to help except Mandy. Kathy and cheerleaders are going to help Nancye set up for dinner. Lehr s is handling the food. Dave has the script completed.

Flight Night Sponsorships-everyone has jumped on the 10 table pricing point. Everyone is back from last year except Facet from last year. Sold 340 tickets over 200 VIP tickets. VIP-need to order more baseballs and pictures. Photo line is going to be very busy. Todd has encouraged people to get in line early. The coaches will also get their pictures. There are 50 more VIP tickets-some will be giveaways. If people call about VIP, they need to call Todd. They are almost sold out. Reds Hall of Fame will bring items to the event. Artist will do a one of a kind painting of Pete Rose-signed and auctioned. Chris and Kathy-snack area Nancye-looking for table signs and banners. Order more VIP tickets. Balloons are ordered. Squares for payments. Dave-Bios and welcome letter. Candy bar wrappers-hershey donated the candy bars Mark-Benediction and welcome address Dave Ackerman-emails to the coaches/parents Mandy-will handle the coupons and get them ready before the day of the event Menu change-pork and roast beef-oasis-6 comp meals Drink prices are being raised-every drink $5.00 Pete is doing the radio interview with Mo Eggers. Season Tickets Nothing to report at this time. Athletic Director s Report Aquatics scoreboard is in and working really well. Spring project-sound system for the pool. Mark will look into prices and report to back. High jump pit was purchased-track paid $2000.00 and Athletic paid the rest. Lacrosse netting has been replaced-temp netting will be in next week. All paid for by the district. Soccer Project-Mark/coaches are getting quotes and will let us know when he has them. MBA-gives donation to the high school to have it used for something related to basketball. They are donating $20,000.00 to help pay for a new scoreboard in the main gym. Looking to purchase a video board. Mark is getting estimates. Old Business New Business Scholarship selection meeting-march 2 at 6:00 in Mark s office. May 13-Castrucci Drive Event-Seniors have made that one of the stops for their last day activities. Our goal is to get 300 drivers. We get $20.00/test drive. See report for details Program Reports Touchdown Club and Kickers were represented. Aquatics sent swimmer to state. Swimming will be represented at the next meeting. Kickers-ordering more seats Concessions K. Swensen is meeting with Baseball and Lacrosse to get organized for the Spring season. Soccer has some product to be moved. April 30 th -SMACK track-mandy will reach out to Softball and see if they can still work the late shift. Advertising/Sponsorships Sibcy Cline ordered a banner. Craft Show Adding booths all the time. Hall of Fame Thank you notes have been received from many people. It went really well. Flight Night Todd spoke about the 2016 Flight Night to get prepared for the event. The details of the expenses and profits will be shared at a meeting after the event.

Event will be broadcasted 6 times in the community. The event is sold out. Hall of Fame will have exhibit items available for people to interact with during the event. Moved and approved to donate $500.00 to a school fundraiser. Action items are listed in the program/at tables. Volunteers can be in the Oasis Wednesday night 5:00-8:30. Any volunteers available on Thursday should be at Oasis 10:00. Season Tickets Nothing to report at this time. Athletic Director s Report Donation was made from M. Trout for $100.00 to Flight Night. Athletic Department made a donation of $400.00 to Flight Night. Visa gift card was donated to Flight Night from Athletic Department also. Photo board-not moved on, and Boosters are not being asked to donate. Soccer project- waiting on quotes Basketball Scoreboard-waiting on quotes Sound System-Natitorium-waiting to see if school district is paying for this Glass Cases and Touch Screens (2)-looking to add touch screens with Salutorians and Hall of Fame. Cases will hold anything school or athletics decides is appropriate. Cost is $30,000 project for 2. School is allocating $20,000. Asking Boosters to donate $10,000. Voted to approve the amount not to exceed $10,000 donation for these cabinets. Todd requested a plaque be there to give credit to the Boosters. This would eliminate a lot of space issues with plaques. L. Dominique suggested we have a per year plaque for the entering HOF class (replaces the individual plaques). BOE has asked M. Trout to have some groups look at the Substance Abuse Policy. The BOE feels the policy is too strict. The opinion of several meeting participants is that the policy is strict enough. Old Business New Business Moved and approved to donate $1000.00 to After Prom activity. Accepting nominations for all Board positions by next meeting.
