St. Louis Park residents are eligible for the Minnetonka resident rate due to a reciprocal agreement between the two cities. Minnetonka residents are eligible for the St. Louis Park resident rate at the St. Louis Park Aquatics Park. 2. Dual is considered two people living at the same address. If one individual is under the age of 15, the other must be an adult 18+ years of age. 3. Family is considered one or two adults plus children 21 and under living at the same address. 4. Youth 14 and under must join with an adult. Youth 14 years old and under are not permitted to use free weights, weight machines or cardiovascular equipment and must be supervised by an adult when using the pool or aerobic classes. Children included on a family membership are free for the first 1 hour & 15 minutes and $3/hour per child for each additional hour billed in 15 minute increments. There is a two hour maximum in Child Care and those who exceed two hours will be charged a $5 late fee. Non-member Child Care rates are $4/hour, per child, with the same two hour maximum and $5 late fee. The billing cycle will run from the 25 th of each month to the 24 th of each month (i.e., August 25 September 24). Any child care fees incurred during that cycle will be reflected on the first of each month along with membership dues. It s one-on-one attention that includes an aerobic and strength program as well as basic information regarding anatomy, physiology and nutrition. Personal training is a great way to get started with a fitness program or to gain direction and motivation. Fitness Assessments and Consultations This program provides baseline measurements of flexibility, endurance, muscular strength, body composition, and cardiovascular fitness. Results from these tests are reviewed and used to create a personalized fitness plan tailored to help you achieve your health and fitness goals! Assessments and consultations take approximately an hour. Members: $45 Non-Members $65 Equipment Orientations Teen Equipment Orientations (Ages 12 14) Teens can go through an equipment orientation where they will learn how to safely and effectively operate our fitness equipment. After completion, teens ages 12 14 will have full access to the fitness center with an adult in attendance. Winter Maintenance provides a much needed offseason for our marathoners and half marathoners who have been training hard since spring. Mileage and intensity are lowered with more emphasis on cross training and easy running to maintain fitness and base mileage while keeping you in perfect form for a strong racing season in 2017. Participants receive a Winter Maintenance schedule providing a week by week plan for running and cross-training during the winter months. Coach-supported group runs will be held on Saturday mornings including an integrated core, strength, and flexibility session in the lower level fitness room, post-run. Mileage is progressively built and maintained at 20 25 miles/week for marathoners and 15 20 miles/week for half marathoners, mid-distance and fitness runners with the goal of maintaining cardio fitness and a solid mileage base throughout the winter months for optimal training next spring! Gear required: Water bottle, water carrier. Age Requirement: Age 16 with parent or age 18 without a parent. Minimum Fitness: Must be able to run 3 4 miles with minimal stopping. Players should be starting to compete in USTA tournaments and have aspirations to play varsity tennis. Williston Fitness Center Men s Singles League The Men s Fall Singles Tennis League is scheduled to start the week of September 19. We will try to have 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 & above. Court space is limited so sign-ups will be restricted to a maximum of 8 players in 3.5 & 4.0 divisions and 6 players in the 3.0 division. Matches begin September 19 and will finish mid-december contingent upon the number of entrants in your division. Each player is guaranteed 10 matches. Division results will be posted bi-weekly. Balls are provided and courts are reserved for you. Start times for the matches will be between 5:30 9 p.m., match length is 1 ½ hours. A 24 hour cancellation of your court is required if you are unable to play. Matches may be rearranged at your convenience for missed matches when courts are available. Once again we will have a Ladies Evening Doubles League with players that are rated 3.0 to 3.5. You do not need a partner to sign up, there are rotating teams each week. The price and length will vary depending on the number of players. It will run approximately 8 10 weeks. The league will be held on Tuesday evenings from 9 10:30 p.m. Players will be responsible for their own subs (we hope to provide a list for you) and if you cannot find a sub, you will notify the players in your group for the evening. There are no refunds if you cannot play, or find a sub. You are encouraged to find a sub, or play with 3 players. Courts are reserved, matches are scheduled, and balls are supplied. We must have a minimum of 10 players to run the league, with the possibility of 16 maximum. The deadline to sign up is September 9 as the league will begin September 27.
