Managers Corner Ahhh, here we are already in the month of love. Time fly s when your having fun. Hope your living your dream. I d like to take a moment and say THANK YOU for all your fabulous cooking to Jessica Legore! You will be missed! I d also like to let everyone know that Sharon Ball will be joining our staff trying to fill Jessica s shoes. Our goal is to keep the food flowing with great taste and reasonable prices. We have several upcoming events to look forward to: Starting with our Super Bowl Tailgate party on February 3 rd. The tailgate party starts at 4 pm and the game at 6:30 pm. everyone that comes to the party will receive an entry ticket for the prizes to be given away at half time and the end of the game. You must be present to win! For those that enjoyed December s video gaming tournament, clear your schedule for the start of a new one. Starting Wednesday March 6 th thru April 10 th we will run another tournament. We will discuss the details in greater detail later in the month. I would like to announce that as of February 1 st we will only be charging $1.00 for mixes made with the fountain sodas. Sorry for the confusion and please understand that there is only coke, diet coke, tonic and ginger ale on the fountain. We have had to cancel Bingo twice so far as well as postpone the 31 Bag Bingo. We have a VA State Conference meeting coming up on February 9th at Virginia Beach #3204. The Grand FOE has renamed its charities and added a new one. Entertainment Notes for February, 2019 Friday Night: Shout outs & Notes ~ 31 BINGO DATE CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER 31 BINGO WILL BE HELD HERE ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2019 THE DOORS WILL OPEN AT 1 PM True Cadence will play again on Feb. 1st. The band is from Roanoke and has played at all the cities hot spots, ie Billy s Barn, the Q, and Salem s Awful Arthur. This is an awesome band playing a variety of music. One of the best bands to play here! Pat Cantrell & High Country return on Feb. 8 th. Classic Country mixed with Southern Rock and a few current country songs will be the bands forte. Charlie Miller might be appearing again! Debuting on Feb. 15 is a seven piece group playing without a drum. Back in Time features old country at it s best. Come give m a good welcome. Expect a really good crowd for the band, That 80 s Show, from Lynchburg, on the 22 nd. Lately the group played as Out of Spite, but on this date will be back to playing all 80 s rock. Special Valentines Dinner: The Prime Band plays for the ladies Valentine dinner on the 9 th. Ashleigh and Ricky will provide a good variety of music and a good night for some quality dancing.
