Your Official Team Manual is your primary source of information and all rules in your Official Team Manual are to be followed with exception of the revisions contained here. League Fee s Weekly Fees for 8-Ball & 9-Ball are $30.00 per team. Regardless of matches played Team fees are listed above for all scheduled matches, regardless of the number of games played and forfeits. All fees should be paid by check. Make all checks payable to APA Pool League if fees are paid in cash, it will be subject to count on arrival of the league office. There will be a $25.00 charge for any returned checks. Start Time is at 7:00pm, 5:00pm on Sundays. A 15 min grace time is allowed. Once play starts it must be continuous. In order for it to be considered a match 3 players must play. Makeup Matches- If a team reschedules a match, the match must be made up within two weeks of the scheduled date. The BOG has the final decision regarding these matters. The non-scheduling team must be notified at least 3 hours before the start of the match. Sandbagging-Any team caught sandbagging or falsifying scoresheets may be subject to one of the following (A) removal from the League. (B) All members on the team raised one handicap level.

Byes- 8 points will be awarded in 8-Ball and 60 points in 9-Ball for a bye week. No league fees will be owed. An individual forfeit in 9-Ball is worth 20 pts, in 8-Ball 2 pts. (for weekly League play) Forfeits must be paid for to receive the points. A forfeit will not count towards a play. Late Fees- All teams are expected to be current with all League fees. Memberships must be paid by week 4. ANY TEAM THAT ALLOWS A PLAYER TO PLAY AFTER WEEK #4 THAT HAS AN UNPAID MEMBERSHIP WILL RECEIVE ZERO POINTS FOR THE WEEK OR WEEKS INVOLVED. (The only exception will be if approved by the League Office, example when a Host Location owner is paying the teams membership) Any team that is past due will not be allowed to play in playoff tournaments. All teams must be current on dues to participate in playoffs. Forfeits- If a team fails to show up for a match, the opposing team will receive no more than 8pts in 8-Ball and 75 points in 9-Ball. If the forfeit occurs after week #4 in the session teams will be awarded their weekly average. Both teams are responsible for League fees. Any team that forfeits all 5 matches will lose their qualification and they will not be eligible for the wildcard draw for LTC. ANY TEAM THAT FORFEITS IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS OF THE SESSION MAY BE SUSPENDED FROM THE LEAGUE. THOSE TEAMS ARE ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL WEEKLY LEAGUE FEES. Drop outs- Any team dropping out or being suspended from the League forfeits all benefits, trophies and or other awards from the League. All members on a team that drops out before the end of the session are responsible for all monies owed by that team. Minimum Matches- All players must have a minimum of 6 matches played to be able to participate in playoffs. All players must have 10 actual League scores to compete in Regional tournaments. (Singles and World Qualifier).

Rules of Conduct No loud, abusive or profane language will be tolerated during League play. We know that most of you are in the League to have a good time and enjoy some friendly competition. If there is a problem, simply bring it to our attention and we will handle it. Be reminded that in each situation, the ruling must go for one side and against the other side. It is required that each player be able to accept being ruled against without causing a scene. Unsportsmanlike conduct toward any opposing player will not be tolerated. Any player involved in an incident that includes either physical abuse or the throwing of any item at any League participant, will be barred from the League and have their APA membership revoked. Excessive slow play will not be tolerated. For regular League play, the local time limit is a 30 second average per shot. If a player is playing excessively slow, first politely ask the Team Captain to have his player speed up. If that does not solve the problem contact us. General Rules- PLEASE REMEMBER IN 8-BALL IT IS A NATIONAL RULE TO MARK YOUR POCKET. Age requirement is 18 years old. The team must be aware of the ordinances with the Host Location. All city ordinances must take precedence. For a match to be cancelled due to inclement weather the League Operator or the other Team Captain must be informed at least two hours prior to the start of the match unless agreed upon by both Team Captains. Coaching will be limited to two coaches per game for 2 & 3 handicaps, 4 s and above are allowed only 1 coach per game. Non rated players are allowed two coaches there 1 st night of League play. Coaching should not exceed 1 minute. Scheduling- Expect changes in the first four weeks of the session. If there is a schedule change I will give you as much notice as I possibly can. If you sign up a team you are responsible for that team. If your team is having a survival problem I will help you in any way I can. If a team drops after week #4, the Team Captain and team members will be responsible for the fees for the rest of that session. You will not be allowed to play until those fees are paid. Byes may be filled anytime during the session.

Team Captains- The Team Captain must be a responsible person, being familiar will all of the rules of the APA. The Team Captain must be responsible for all actions and conduct of all team members during League play, or special APA functions. Scoresheets must be kept neat and readable. They are kept on file for one year by the L.O. as they are official records for national play. Scoresheets must be filled out completely. (IF I CANNOT READ THEM I CANNOT SCORE THEM.) Both teams must keep score. It is the home Team Captains responsibility that both team s scoresheets and fees are sealed inside the envelope and left behind the bar for pickup. All League packets are dropped off and picked up at each Host Location. CAPTAINS PLEASE LIST IN THE AREA FOR LEAGUE FEES ON YOUR SCORESHEET HOW MUCH YOUR TEAM IS PAYING AND ITEMIZE ANY MEMBERSHIPS. Division Standings - The 1 st place team in each division (highest points in regular League play) will receive a slot to the World Qualifier. They will receive 1 st place money and 1 st place trophies. This will consist of an individual plaque for each player and one for the Host Location. (Minimum of 4 plays required) Payouts are determined in 8-Ball & 9-Ball by the standings of the last week of session play. 1 st thru last is paid.
