Page 2 The PTO Pages! Don t let our staff go hungry! Our wonderful Fugett staff will be staying late into the evening for March conferences on Thursday, March 8 th. We would like to make their day a little easier by once again providing them with lunch and an all too rare chance to socialize with each other. We need entrees: hoagies, soups, pasta dishes, or whatever you can make (or buy!). There are also openings for a few other items. If you would like to donate an item please go to: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0e4daeaa2b0- march1

Page 3 The PTO Pages! We are already planning for the 2018-2019 school year, and we need volunteers! We have two open positions on our executive board: President perfect for someone who is organized and can delegate Secretary just right for the person who is a good communicator and can dedicate a little time to typing up minutes Ready to volunteer or have questions? Contact Marcy Bergin at FugettPTO@gmail.com (Committee chair openings will be coming soon. Watch this space.) The Cougar Cause and the West Chester Food Cupboard When school is not in session, students in need miss meals and strain the family food budget. Please consider placing some breakfast or lunch items in the blue bin in the Fugett front entrance to help our neighbors over the Presidents Day weekend. Any other non-perishable food items and personal care items you can spare are always gratefully accepted. Thanks for your support! Contact us: FugettPTO@gmail.com

Page 4 The PTO Pages! EAST HIGH SCHOOL 2018 POST PROM Post Prom needs your help! We are reaching out to our feeder schools to see if you would like to get involved. This fun filled event is held to keep OUR kids safe, and this will be your child one day! We really need help with the following areas: Bingo Chair Coordinate the times, run the games throughout the night, and coordinate prizes. Overnight Chaperone. Decorators We have a Chair; we just need a few more decorators. We want to make this the best night we can. We have ideas; we have supplies; we just need your skills. Please reach out to Kim Fanning if you (and a friend) would consider helping. We can assign you to a team as well. We ve been doing this for years, and it really is fun! Thanks in advance for your help. Post Prom Co-Chairs Brigitte Grenell at grenell@comcast.net or 610-918-2783 Kim Fanning at kfanning200@comcast.net or 610-883-0887

Interested 6th graders should listen for announcements. Fugett s 3 v 3 March Madness contest to raise money charity will be held on Friday, March 2. Sign-up forms will be collected beginning the week of February 12. Spring sports will begin in early March! Students will need a PIAA physical to participate and should listen for announcements from coaches about start dates and times. Students and Parents should be reminded that the expectation of a student athlete has always been that they are ambassadors of the school and represent the school when traveling to an away game. For the safety of all students and for the image that, as a school, Fugett wants to portray to others, any misbehavior on the bus or at an away game will not be tolerated and there will be consequences for poor student behavior. Fugett students have been regarded as exceptional young men and women who treat others with respect and exhibit good sportsmanship. We do not want to tarnish this image.
