Page 2 Senior Spotlight Senior Spotlight The beautiful Christina Dawn Ticer (Tina) was born on March 16th of 1994 in San Antonio, Texas to her parents Ronnie and Debbie Ticer. She has been in FFA and Academic UIL throughout Jr. High and High School, and in the latest years been in PHP, Yearbook, and Inducted into NHS her sophomore year. Tina works at Camp John Marc during the summer. Her favorite movies are, Footloose, Sweet Home Alabama, 10 Things I Hate About You, Mean Girls, and any Disney movie. Some of her other Favorite things are, Jessica Marie Ramsey, Strawberries, country music (She s in love with Springsteen), popcorn, sweet tea, and Jim s baked potato pizza. Her hobbies are reading, showing lambs, spending time with Jessica Marie, and hanging out with her man Colton. Tina plans to go to Tarleton State University to become a family and marriage psychologist. They went 4-4 in district but their season ended short with a battle against Moody for a spot in the playoffs after missing out of the playoffs last season. Senior Justin Guerrero had a phenomenal performance on the mound this year and was pronounced district pitcher of the year. She has attended Meridian since Kindergarten. Her parents are Mae and George Smith Jr. She participates in Band and One Act Play. She plans to go to New York Film Academy to become an actress. She loves to spend time with my family and my friends, and her pets. She has a total of 5 dogs and 4 cats. Each of them are named after something, like her cat Ash is named after a character in her mom s book Acheron whose nickname is Ash. Her favorite movie is The Rocky Horror Picture Show. She has two favorite actors. Her number one favorite actor is Vin Diesel. She loves him in The Chronicles of Riddick: Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick. And her second favorite actor is Brad Pitt. Her favorite is Legends of Fall. Her favorite actress is Nicole Kidman, and her favorite TV Show is True Blood. She loves the TV character is Eric Northman, and her favorite music is country. She loves her some Kenny Chesney. Her favorite Pop star is Michael Jackson. RIP Michael!! Her favorite food is seafood, especially shrimp. (eating steak&shrimp!) My favorite drink is Dr. Pepper! She loves the book Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon, and her favorite comic books are the Vampire Knight comics. She got 1st place in Long Jump, 2nd Place in Triple Jump, and 8th Place in the 400M Dash. Seth Barker went to state as a sophomore in pole vault. Senior Spotlight Sydney Wright was born on September 3, 1993 in Hiedelberg, Germany to Doug and Beverly Wright. She has been attending Meridian High School since last year and has participated in many things. She has participated in Cross Country, Academic UIL (science and Ready writing) and went to state in Track. After high school Sydney plans on going to the Univeristy of Memphis to run track for them and to study exercise science. Sydney's hobbies are reading, writing, and running.
