Presidents Corner Sharon and I would like to wish all of you a very bountiful Thanksgiving. The slate of candidates for 2017 officers that has been developed to this point is: President Vice-President Treasurer Secretary Walt Dugan James Crall Steve Freed Bob Jones Members have until the elections at the November 3rd meeting to nominate themselves or another member, with their permission, for any of the above positions. Contact John Watters (664-5390) or Jim Crall (587-7006) with any additional nominations. From Bill S. : I'm working with a movie company to try to get 2 taxis for a movie being filmed in Albany. There is a Checker cab in Gloversville, as I saw it in the Johnstown show once several years ago. Being that you and the club have done several shows there, I was wondering if you remember that taxi - maybe you have it in one of you registrations? Any info you could provide would be appreciated. Thanks Bill Directions to our Winter Location at Halfmoon Town Hall: The address is 2 Halfmoon Hall Plaza, Halfmoon, NY 12065 and the phone number is 518-371-7410. Directions are as follows from the Northway. Take exit 8A follow signs for Grooms Road. Turn right onto Grooms Road. At Route 9 the name of the road will change to Guideboard road. Proceed to the next light and take a left onto Route 236. About a mile down the road you will see Town Hall on your right. The last intersection is Fellows Road. If you reach Hayner Road, you ve gone too far. Hope to see you at the meeting Walt

members to indicate their preferences and return their sheet to her. Adirondack Shelby-Mustang Regional Club Old Business Meeting held October 6, 2016 at Halfmoon Town Hall. Meeting called to order at 7:02pm. Walt asked the membership to accept the minutes from the September meeting. Phil Benner made a motion to accept the minutes and Jim Crall seconded the motion. Minutes were approved. Walt had new members present, Paul Sullivan and Charlie Ducar, introduce themselves Steve passed the club mail around for members to see. Steve Freed distributed the Treasurer s report to members present at the meeting. The beginning balance was $3,045.58 and the ending balance is $2,401.46. Steve received the Metro Ford and Mr. Ding a Ling checks from the Metro show at the meeting so the treasurer s report does not reflect these amounts. Steve reported he will be sending the Make a Wish Donation to them soon. Jim Crall made a motion to accept the treasurer s report and it was seconded by Jim Prout. The treasurer s report was accepted. Bylaw changes No requests for bylaw changes were submitted. Nomination Committee report Jim Crall has received the following nominations: Walt Dugan for president, Bob Jones for secretary, and Steve Freed for treasurer. Jim will continue to pursue a nomination for vice president. The voting for officer positions will take place at the November meeting. Walt advised the MCA position is a two year term so Jeff will continue thru next year. Holiday Party The party will be on Saturday, December 3, from 6pm to 10pm at Moscatiello s. Linda distributed a list of the menu options for this year s party and asked New Business The club received an email from a participant at the Metro show. He expressed concern that a Mercury vehicle with a Chevy power train was given an award in the Ford Motor class. Members discussed what class vehicles like this should be registered to. Members felt that if this matter had been bought to the club s attention at the show it would have been rectified by putting the vehicle in the other class and the vehicle would not have been awarded votes in the Ford class. There was discussion about including a notice about the death of club members in the newsletter. Steve Freed volunteered to notify Walt of any deaths of club members, (but not their family members) to be placed in the newsletter. Club members should notify Steve if they become aware of the death of a club member. Walt reminded members that we are still collecting pop tops for Leukemia. Steve is selling car wash tickets and anyone interested in purchasing club clothing should contact Wendy Brown. John Watters will work on a schedule for next year s Bi-monthly dinners. MCA Report Jeff reported that three Mustang museums are being planned. One in North Carolina, one in Alabama and one in Detroit. Walt reported that his registration plate was included in this month s Mustang Times. 50/50 winner of $22 was Charles Ducar. The meeting was adjourned at 7:30pm. ASMC Secretary, Linda Smith
