Registration open from 10:00am. 4th Cat riders wanting to ride the 2nd race need to retain the same rider number and timing chip to use in both races. Handicap Times The groups and time gaps may be changed on the day depending on number of riders at organizers discretion. First Group Cat 4 @ 0:00 Second Group Cat 3 @ 1:30 Third Group Cat 2 @ 3:00 Fourth Group Cat E,1 @ 4.00 Intermediate Sprint 20: winner will be first over the line after 5 laps. Aimed at 3 rd and 4 th cat riders. Overall Prizes 1 st 40 2 nd 30 3 rd 20 4 th 15 5 th 10 Primes There may be spot primes at the organizer s discretion. All cash prizes in both events are subject to confirmation depending on number of riders. Podium Protocol Club / team jerseys must be worn on the podium; failure to do so will result in prize money being withdrawn. Velo29 will enforce this rule on behalf of clubs and teams who expect their jerseys to be worn for photo opportunities. Podium presentation will take place immediately after each race.
Series Rules There is a series trophy for the best lady, best 4th Cat/ GO-Race and best E1234 racer. The winner for the E1234 will receive the North East Trophy. For each round points will be given for the first 10 places, this will include GO-Race riders. There will be an additional overall prize in the final round for the winner of the point s competition. Club / team jerseys must be worn on the podium; failure to do so will result in prize money being withdrawn. Velo29 will enforce this rule on behalf of clubs and teams who expect their jerseys to be worn for photo opportunities. Podium presentation will take place immediately after each race. Signing On Open from 10:00am until 15 minutes before each race. Please present your license at the signing on desk, where you will receive one number and a timing chip. Entry on the line is possible for 20 up to 80 riders. Licenses will be retained and handed back on receipt of race number and timing chip. Bikes are NOT to be taken through the signing on hall under any circumstances! The Circuit There will be access to the circuit from 10:30am. The finish area and circuit may not have been set up / checked for problems yet, so please take advice from race officials before heading for your warm-up. Do not warm up on the circuit whilst other races are taking place! Spectators You can watch from anywhere on the circuit, but please take care when crossing.
Litter Please do not jeopardize our use of this circuit by leaving litter this goes for both spectators and riders. Riders may be penalized if seen littering the circuit. Race Regulations The race will be run under British Cycling Federation technical regulations. Laps Out No Laps Out. Lapped Riders May continue but should not take part in the racing. Any lapped rider racing/ influencing the outcome of the race will be immediately disqualified. Results Race report and results will be available at www.velo29events.com, draft results will be published on Facebook Velo29 Page on the day of the event. Final results will also be posted on the British Cycling Website once approved by the commissarie.
