LIFT PASSES We have contracts with the lift pass office and are able issue pre-booked passes at the chalet which are handed you ready use on your arrival in the resort. Days Free Passes Children under 5 years old and adults over 75 years are free. SKI SCHOOL ESF (Ecole du Ski Francais) The local ESF School offers group lessons at all levels with English speaking instrucrs. The school employs 40 instrucrs and provides a wide range of services for both adults and particularly for the children. Children will do 2 hours of lessons in the morning so that skiing is a pleasure and game and then have lunch in the centre s restaurant. The afternoon includes the possibility of a nap, snow shoe walking in the Croisette area, sledging and inside games. Children are taught by fully qualified instrucrs in a protected area featuring special equipment including magic carpets, mini-ski ws, a rope w, structures and welcoming figures encourage learning. They play games both inside and out including snowballs, sledging, snow games and being educated on nature and the environment. Snacks are included. Lunchtime supervision and a meal can also be provided if required places are limited so early booking is essential. The mini club facilities include secure indoor and outdoor playing areas, a dining room abnd fully equipped kitchen plus several quiet sleeping area. The children are cared for by qualified professionals both nursery nurses and child carers. EQUIPMENT RENTAL A basic description of the ski levels is as follows help you select the right level for your needs: Bronze Economy (Skis) Lowest price reliable equipment for the skier on a budget equipment which has been downgraded from silver and gold levels due its age skis in their third year of use Silver Discovery (Skis and Boards) Skis designed for a good beginner or low intermediate looking for easy manage skis on the slopes. Quality boots for comfort. Gold Sensation (Skis and Boards) Good intermediates or advanced skiers looking maximize their performance and ability. Equipment maximum of two years old. This level allows cusmers change their equipment up three times during the week (from Monday Thursday) subject availability at the shop and limited once per day. Platinum Excellence (Skis) Top quality new models plus the specialist skis such as off piste or twin tips for good skiers. High quality boots for very good support. Equipment maximum one year old. MiniKid (Skis) Skis for very young children up and including five years of age ski lengths from 70cm 90cm. Junior Espoir (Skis) First level of skis for children between the age of six and eleven inclusively suitable for beginners or low intermediate levels. Ski lengths are from 100cm 150cm equipment is a maximum of three years old. Junior Champion Skis and Boards High quality skis and snowboards for children aged six eleven inclusively after they have skied a couple of weeks. The skis adapt suit the ability and level. Lengths are between 100cm and 150cm, including race skis and twin tips as well as junior snowboards. Our discounted rates below are for service at the local shop and are for pre-bookings only. In les Bruyeres, the shop is just a few minutes away from our chalets, and in Les Bettaix our partners provide a pick up and drop off service take you the shop where you will be fitted with your equipment.
