The doors in the back will be open. Packet pick-up is located in the lobby of the hotel. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska There is street parking available as well as the lot directly behind the building. Entrances on both side will be open. Packet pick-up is located in the cafeteria on the main level. WHAT S IN MY PACKET? Race bib (with timing chip for 10K participants) 4 safety pins to attach bib to front of body Ticket(s) to redeem incentives, if earned T-SHIRT CONTEST Be sure to place your vote for your favorite team shirt design when you pick up your packet. Voting will also be available on race day at the American Lung Association table at the finish line. BIB INSTRUCTIONS 10K Participants: For you to receive a time, your bib MUST be properly attached to your body. The bib must be visible on the front of your body. The foam Bib Tag needs to remain attached to the bib because the Timing Tag is inside the foam. Please keep it free of wrinkles and bends. 2 Mile Participants: The bib must be visible on the front of your body. DONATIONS You can hand in any cash or check donations collected at packet pick-up for a chance to earn the Tervis-style coffee mug or the Corporate Cup dri-fit shirt.
START LINE NEW THIS YEAR! START LINE The start line will be located on Aksarben Drive starting at the Blue Cross Blue Shield parking lot down to the end of the block for 10K participants, elite and seeded runners. 2 Mile runners will line up along Frances Street. LINING UP 10K Participants: If you have a seeded pass, you may line up in the corrals directly behind the start line. If you do not qualify for a seeded pass, line up behind the corrals near the pacing flag of your assumed pace. Walkers and those with strollers are asked to line up behind the runners. 2 Mile Participants: Please line up behind the runners on Aksarben Drive. Overflow will line up on Frances Street, if need be. START TIME 10K and 2 Mile: 7:30 a.m. Kids 100 Yard Dash: 8:30 a.m. (100 yards back from the finish line, near Marriott Residence Inn Hotel) P PARKING Parking is available at First Data (Pacific Street entrance), Baxter Arena Lots 26 and 27 (Center and Spring Street entrance) and in/around Aksarben Village. COURSE DETAILS WATER STOPS/RESTROOMS There are two aid stations located along the course approximately two miles apart at the 2 and 4 mile markers. Each aid station consists of the following amenities in this order: Water Toilet facilities Each aid station is approximately one city block in length. Participants are advised to continue moving through the aid station if the first tables are too crowded to conveniently obtain fluids. CHEER STATIONS Cheer stations will be placed on the course this year to push you to the finish! We encourage you to share these locations with your friends and family so they can cheer you on throughout the race! First Data will be cheering you on as you head out from the start line. Corner of Aksarben Drive and Pine Street 2 mile/10k split will be clearly marked and staffed with cheerful volunteers to help you find your way to the correct course. 66th and Pacific Street Elmwood Park: The water stop will not only quench your thirst but push you on as you begin the back half of the race. Elmwood Park entrance off Pacific Street UNO: After climbing the hill, you will need some love and our water stop volunteers will make sure that they have plenty of water and cheers on the ready to get you to the finish! UNO, Parking Lot D The finish line will be packed with spectators waiting your arrival as you complete this year s Fight For Air Corporate Cup! WEATHER CONDITIONS Because of the extensive planning and number of volunteers needed for an event of this magnitude, this event will not be postponed due to weather conditions. The Fight For Air Corporate Cup will happen RAIN or SHINE! In the event that a cancellation or alteration will take place, the American Lung Association will advise participants through various traditional and non-traditional media channels. FINISH LINE Once you cross the finish line, you will collect your 2016 Fight For Air Corporate Cup medal, grab some water, and treat yourself to a delicious Jones Bros. cupcake. VENDOR AREA Be sure to take a walk through the vendor area as you leave the finishing area to meet our sponsor partners. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE In Aksarben Village, the main medical tent is located just beyond the finish line. For the safety of all participants, only those requiring medical assistance will be allowed access into the medical tent. If you require medical assistance on the race course, please find the nearest volunteer and let them know that you d like to drop out of the course. Our emergency preparedness team will get you the assistance you need. PHOTOS Stop by and have your picture taken as you celebrate at the finish! STAY AND PLAY IN THE VILLAGE For the first time, ARTsarben, Fight For Air Corporate Cup and the Omaha Farmers Market will share Aksarben Village on Sunday, September 25. Visitors can satisfy their mental wellness by enhancing their home s feng shui with beautiful handmade art from ARTsarben, enhance their physical fitness by registering for the Fight For Air Corporate Cup and feed the soul with fresh, organic produce from the Omaha Farmers Market.

OUR WORK IN ACTION The LUNG FORCE Expo is a program designed for patients, caregivers and healthcare providers to learn more about the latest trends, resources and research surrounding lung cancer, COPD and asthma. The LUNG FORCE Expo will take place on Thursday, October 13, at the Embassy Suites in the Old Market.
