Any cutout sections of a dress must be covered with mesh fabric or other covering. Gowns revealing midriffs are prohibited. Slits for dresses must stop 3 inches above the knee. The hem of any garment must be ankle length High low dresses are prohibited. Plunging backs or backless dresses are prohibited. Open back dresses are acceptable provided the bodice (top portion of the dress back) meets the middle of the back, where the natural bra line crosses. Strapless dresses are permitted provided the bodice (top portion of the dress front) covers the chest area

Head coverings, including, but not limited to, caps, hats, bandanas, hair curlers, and/or sunglasses, shall not be worn unless required by a physician or authorized by school personnel, or for religious reasons. Tennis shoes and flip-flops are prohibited. Jeans, sport pants, or shorts are prohibited. Tuxes and suits are appropriate for the occasion. Pants must be worn at the waist. No canes.

Seniors must be at Sandalwood on Saturday, April 6 th between 2:30pm 3:30pm in order to attend. Please park in the North Teacher Lot

2019 Sandalwood Senior Awards Ceremony May 20 @ 12:30pm This is a formal awards ceremony. Parents are encouraged to attend. Business/ Professional attire is required.

All senior debts must be paid prior to pick up All seniors must be cleared by their house administrator Seniors may pick up their Cap and Gowns on Tuesday, May 28 from 11:45am to 1:45pm

Graduates participating in this service are required to arrive by NOON to line up for the processional. Practice will be held on May 28, 9am-11am Please join us for Sandalwood s Senior Baccalaureate Ceremony. This will be held at Kernan Blvd. Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 29 at 1pm.

Sandalwood Graduation Information Please join us at the Veterans Memorial Arena for the Sandalwood Graduation Ceremony at 5pm on Thursday, May 30. All guests will be required to present tickets as they enter the arena. Parking will cost between $5-$7. Graduating Seniors are required attend the rehearsal between 9:15am and 11:15am and to arrive no later than 4pm for the ceremony.

Have you been accepted to college? Have you been offered a scholarship? We want to know about it! Bring confirmation of ALL of your college acceptances and scholarship offers to your counselor. You can bring in hard copies or email them directly to your counselor. You will receive an EXTRA GRADUATION TICKET for sharing this information!

Are you interested in joining yearbook next year? Do you like taking photos? Are you good at design? Do you like writing? Do you want to help create the Sandalwood Yearbook? There is an application and an interview process to apply for yearbook. Please see Mrs. Johnston in room 102 to pick up an application and to ask any questions. Applications and letters of recommendations are due by April 24, 2019.

The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in. Deadline - June 19, 2019 Amount of Award - $500.00 The successful applicant will be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute and currently involved in some sport at that institution or in the community.. Working Toward TRIPLE A School Status in 2019 and a 99% Graduation Rate

The parking application states: You are not permitted to go to your car at any time during the day unless you are leaving for lunch (Blue lot only.) You may not sit and eat in your car, use your car as a locker, or other-wise go to the parking lot during the school day. Violators will be ticketed and lose parking privileges for 9 weeks.
