10-R-1236-S 14-15 August 2010 Jersey Racing Board 2010 Pro IT Series Rounds 6 & 7 Schedule Notice to Competitors Due to the full schedule and track operating restraints, competitors are expected to be on the grid and prepared to enter the course prior to the end of the previous session. The weekend schedule is time certain - our sessions start on the scheduled time whether or not we are ready.

10-R-1236-S Jersey Racing Board 13-15 August 2010 2010 Pro IT Rounds 6 & 7 Race Announcements SUPPLEMENTAL REGULATIONS 1. EVENT. This event is an SCCA regional race conducted in accordance with New Jersey Motor Vehicle Racetrack Regulations Chapter 62, the current SCCA General Competition Rules, any amendments to date and these Supplemental Regulations. The attached Competitor Information is part of these Supplemental Regulations and contains important information regarding the conduct of the event. The attached Track Regulations and Information are part of these Supplemental Regulations and contain important information about the track rules and facilities. In the event of a conflict, the New Jersey regulations will supersede all others. This event is Rounds 6 & 7 of the 2010 Pro IT championship series and will be conducted according to the series rules at: http://www.njrrs.com/proit/2010proitrules_2.pdf. Series Rule 2.5 regarding series and sponsor decals will be strictly enforced at this event. This event is a support race for the spectator race weekend headlined by the ARCA RE/MAX series. The professional race environment is more restrictive and structured than the normal SCCA Club Racing weekend. Major differences are highlighted below. A copy on NJMP s 2010 Sanction Body and Series Guidelines is attached below and is part of these Supplemental Regulations. 2. COURSE. This event will utilize the 2.25 mile Thunderbolt Raceway course at New Jersey Motorsports Park. 3. OFFICIALS. ENTRIES. The attached entry form is part of these Supplemental Regulations and contains pertinent contact and event information. All entry forms must be filled out completely. They may be entered into the DLB online registration system ( http://www.dlbracing.com ) or mailed and postmarked by the deadline. Mail entries should be addressed to Val Heun, 1717 Devon Avenue, Linwood NJ 08221. Telephone 609 926-4842 before 11 August for event information. Entries postmarked after 7 August or taken at the track are subject to an additional $30 late entry fee; there is no late fee for online entries.. All checks are subject to collection with both the driver and entrant responsible. A $50 fee will be charged for insufficient funds. Do not use Express Mail or overnight delivery services which require a daytime signature or a special pickup. Registration is not complete or guaranteed until payment in full is received. Payment may be made with Paypal, mailed to the registrar with a paper entry or mailed separately if registering online. 6. WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS. Refunds are guaranteed for written notice of cancellation received by the Registrar prior to the close of event accounting on Monday, 23 August 2010. Telephone cancellations will be accepted if followed by written notice. Notifications may be given to the Registrar at the track or mailed to Val Heun, 1717 Devon Avenue, Linwood NJ 08221. No refunds can be made if the car has participated in any on-track session. Refunds less a $30 administrative fee will be handled by check within 21 days after the event. 7. CAR ELIGIBILITY. There are six recognized classes eligible for the race: ITR, ITS, ITA, ITB, ITC and SM. See Chapter 2 of the Pro IT rules for the complete specifications and allowances for compatible classes. 8. DRIVER ELIGIBILITY. The race is open to holders of all licenses eligible for regional competition in the current GCR including SCCA Novice Permit holders with their drivers school requirements completed. In addition, holders of acceptable competition licenses from all SCCA-approved organizations may be accepted with the permission of the Chief Steward. Drivers must present a current SCCA membership card. 9. OVERSUBSCRIPTIONS. A total of 56 entries will be accepted for the race, subsequent entries will be placed on a wait list. Every effort will be made to notify the entrants who are on the wait list of their status. 10. SCHEDULE. The attached schedule is part of these Supplemental Regulations and contains all race grouping and session times for the event. 11. CANCELLATION. The organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the event when circumstances develop beyond their control. When possible, all entrants will receive advance notice of such action and advice on refund arrangements. For event status call the Registrar or Race Chairman.

10-R-1236-S Jersey Racing Board 13-15 August 2010 2010 Pro IT Rounds 6 & 7 Race Announcements SUPPLEMENTAL REGULATIONS 12. MINORS. Minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to sign a minor waiver or must present a notarized minor waiver or have a current SCCA Annual Minor Waiver. Note that no one under 16 years of age is allowed in the hot pits or on the Make Up Grid. Minor drivers are allowed to drive but not participate in other activities in those areas. IMPORTANT: In order to satisfy Chapter 62, minor drivers must provide a copy of their birth certificate, an SCCA minor waiver signed by a parent or guardian and a detailed driver resume. 13. REGISTRATION. SCCA Registration will be in the Registration Center on Motorsports Boulevard. Registration will be open as listed in the schedule. All persons attending the event must register and sign a release during these hours. At other times check at registration building for registration information. The organizers reserve the right to request cash payment. Please make sure that all guests, sponsors and team members are aware of Sanctioning Body and Series registration hours. After registration closes, series guests and team members without current credentials and/or a hard card must purchase a ticket to access NJMP. Once a ticket has been purchased, there are NO REFUNDS. NJMP Registration/Ticket Office will close each night at 10:00p. After this time, guests without proper credentials or tickets will not be admitted. 14. CREDENTIALS. Passes for the driver and four crew members are available at no charge. Children under 12 are admitted free. Crew members who are not SCCA members are not allowed in the hot pits or the Makeup Grid. Non-members may obtain a weekend membership or join SCCA at registration. Credentials must be visible in hot areas. Only the driver/entrant may change the names on crew lists. COMPETITOR INFORMATION 1. TECH INSPECTION. Tech inspection will be conducted at the Pro IT Tent in the paddock area. The driver s helmet and car logbook must be brought to Tech for inspection. Drivers must complete their tech sheet including the page number from the appropriate spec book listing their car. You must have proof of registration to get a tech sticker. Per Chapter 62, the NJMP staff and/or members of the New Jersey State Police (NJSP) may perform random tech inspections to ensure compliance with Chapter 62. You are required to comply with any such random inspection and any finding of NJMP and/or the NJSP is final and not protestable. 2. SCALES. The scales will be available at the Pro IT Tent as listed in the schedule. At other times they may be available by contacting the Chief Scrutineer. 3. CAR NUMBERS. Car numbers will be assigned by the Registrar and verified at Tech Inspection. The size and contrast of numbers and class designations displayed on cars are subject to approval by Timing and Scoring. Because of the distance between Timing and Scoring and the track, large, clearly contrasting and well separated numbers are required. Illegible, incorrect or improperly positioned numbers will result in a request from Timing & Scoring for correction. T&S will not be responsible for any inaccuracies that result from failure to correct a number after notification. 4. TIMING & SCORING. AMB Tranx260 Transponders will be used at this event. A limited number of rental units may be available from the NJMP karting facility. Contact the Karting Center at 856 327-7218 for availability and cost. A working and charged transponder must be mounted on each car, with only one car registered for each transponder. It is the competitors responsibility to notify Timing & Scoring of their transponder number by writing it on the T&S section of the entry form or by reporting to T&S in person. It is also the competitors responsibility that their transponder is working AND charged sufficiently to be read by the AMB System. Non official timing lights may not be within 30 feet of the timing line. Timing and Scoring information on icard, rmonitor and AMB In-Car Display, if in use, is unofficial and cannot be protested. There is NO guarantee that any of these systems will be available to competitors or other interested parties. 5. VEHICLES. The speed limit in the paddock is 5 mph. The speed on access roads is 25 mph. Race cars not licensed for street use may not be driven outside of the paddock. Absolutely no testing or brake bedding on infield roads is permitted.

10-R-1236-S Jersey Racing Board 13-15 August 2010 2010 Pro IT Rounds 6 & 7 Race Announcements COMPETITOR INFORMATION 6. PITS. The Pits are a restricted area which requires hot pass. A maximum of two people per car is permitted at the outer pit wall after the start of a race to time and signal cars. The pit lane may be crossed carefully during a race. No smoking or alcoholic beverages are permitted in the pits. Crew members must wear closed shoes and long pants in the hot pit area. Minors under 16 are not permitted in the pits.. 7a. GARAGES. No garages will be available this weekend. 7b. PARKING. Crew and Officials must park in the designated parking area to the west of the Hangar in the Thunderbolt Paddock. Unless NJMP has issued a parking pass, you may not park personal vehicles in paddock spaces with transporters or teams. Violators will be towed at the owner s expense. 7c. PADDOCK. Cars must be aligned in the paddock under the direction of the paddock marshals. No motorized vehicle may be operated by anyone not holding a valid state issued drivers license. Children must be under direct parental supervision at all times. Speeding and reckless driving in the paddock are strictly prohibited. No stakes or holes may be driven into the asphalt; nothing can be painted on the asphalt surface. Receptacles will be available for used oil and other fluids. All trash and hazardous debris must be disposed properly or taken with you when you leave - the facility must be left as we found it. Per Chapter 62, absolutely no alcohol may be consumed in the paddock during the day s racing events. Since groups not under SCCA control will have access to paddock, reasonable care should be exercised to protect personal belongings. Parked transporters, RVs or any other vehicle may not encroach on surrounding paved areas by more than three feet when fully opened and in use. This will be strictly enforced by NJMP Security and the NJ State Police, who will be on-site throughout the course of the weekend. NJMP s Thunderbolt paddock is equipped with power throughout. All power boxes contain 35 and many contain 50amp, 220-volt service. Power is free to competitors. NJMP Security personnel will be roving throughout the paddock area and will unlock power boxes as necessary. 8. QUALIFYING. Timing and Scoring will time all cars on all laps during qualifying sessions. All qualifying times, grids and provisional results will be posted on the Pro IT results board. The Saturday qualifying will be for the Saturday race. The Sunday Qualifying will be for the Sunday race. 9. MAKEUP GRID. The Grid is a restricted area which requires hot pass. Crew members must clear the Makeup Grid at the one minute signal. Late starters should obey the orders of the Grid and Pit Marshals as to how and when to enter the course. No smoking or alcoholic beverages are permitted while cars are on the Makeup Grid. Minors under 16 are not permitted on the Makeup Grid. 10. BLACK FLAG. Drivers receiving a specific black flag must report to the Assistant Chief Steward at Pit Center. Drivers receiving a mechanical black flag (meatball) should proceed cautiously to their pits, you will be met there. The Black Flag will be displayed on driver s left at Station 9 at the end of the back straight and may be displayed from the Starters Bridge. 11. SAFETY CAR. If conditions warrant, a safety car will be used during a race to slow traffic and allow a safe cleanup. Competitors shall form a single file pack behind the safety car. The Safety Car will enter the course at Pit Out 12. IMPOUND. The top four cars in each class must be taken to impound at the Pro IT paddock. Drivers are responsible for determining their finishing positions. 13. TRACK ACCESS. No motorized vehicles are allowed on the race course or in the pit lane before the start or after the end of the scheduled competition activities on any day of the event.

10-R-1236-S Jersey Racing Board 13-15 August 2010 2010 Pro IT Rounds 6 & 7 Race Announcements TRACK REGULATIONS AND INFORMATION 1. CAMPING. RVs and Toter Homes used for camping will be inside the Thunderbolt paddock. NJMP recommends that teams purchase camping in advance by contacting the NJMP Ticket Office, 856-327- 7217. Camping will also be available for purchase upon arrival. RV/Toter Home camping is $125 for the duration of the event (August 13-15). We have a limited number of 50amp, 220-volt outlets, but do have conversion plugs that work with RVs in the event the generator cannot be run. RVs must park in the designated area on the paddock map. RVs should turn and pull in straight toward the power boxes. Please do not park parallel to through roads. RVs on the paddock ends should park so that awnings do not encroach more than three feet onto asphalt areas. Toter homes, because of their nature, may stay hooked up to the trailers and remain in the place where initially parked. 2. PERSONAL PADDOCK VEHICLES (PPV). All motorized personal paddock vehicles (golf carts, four wheelers, etc.) must be registered with NJMP and display a NJMP PPV sticker. Golf carts are the only PPV that can be driven out of the paddock area to other parts of the facility. PPV permits will be available from NJMP in the Registration Center. Additional information and an application are available at http://www.njmp.com. 3. SERVICES. Electricity, water, compressed air, restrooms and refreshments are available at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Racing gas will be available but the hours of availability may be limited, please listen for announcements. 4. QUIET TIME. Unmuffled engines may not be run between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM 5. PETS. NJMP discourages bringing pets to the track. If brought, all pets must be kept on a leash. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after them. 6. SMOKING. New Jersey law prohibits smoking in any public buildings. 7. TRACK HOURS. The track facilities are available to SCCA starting at 6:00 PM on Thursday evening. All participants must vacate the facility by 7:00 PM on Sunday evening. 8. TRACK SECURITY. Security guards are available at the track. The organizers and NJMP will not be responsible for damage or theft of equipment. 9. SIGNS. No signs may be posted on any track facility. 10. VENDING. No products or services may be sold on the facility without the express written consent of NJMP. All vendors must register with NJMP. 11, FOOD SERVICES. NJMP Food and Beverage is the sole provider for on-site concessions and hospitality (catering) at NJMP. No outside catering is permitted at NJMP.

Rt. 55 becomes two lanes for ¾ miles. Rt. 55 becomes route 47. Follow for 3.7 Miles and turn right at the traffic light onto Mauricetown Road. (Citgo Gas and WaWa on the Corner) Follow for 1.5 miles, cross over the bridge and make a right at the blinking light onto Buckshutem Road (CR-670). Follow for 5.8 miles and turn right onto Rt. 555, Dividing Creek Road. Main Gate is on the left. In no event should Haulers and large vehicles attempt to access the track via Exit 32 Landis Ave, Exit 29 Rosenhayn or through the downtown area of Millville via Exit s 27, 26, or 24. TRACK INFORMATION 14-Turn Road Course, 2.25 Miles, runs clockwise ACCESS AFTER REGISTRATION CLOSES Please make sure that all guests, sponsors and team members are aware of Sanctioning Body and Series registration hours. After registration closes, series guests and team members without current credentials and/or a hard card must purchase a ticket to access NJMP. Once a ticket has been purchased, there are NO REFUNDS. NJMP Registration/Ticket Office will close each night at 10:00p. After this time, guests without proper credentials or tickets will not be admitted. CREW AND OFFICIAL PARKING Crew and Officials must park in the designated parking area to the west of the Hangar in the Thunderbolt Paddock. Unless NJMP has issued a parking pass, you may not park personal vehicles in paddock spaces with transporters or teams. Violators will be towed at the owner s expense. Packages will be delivered to the Clubhouse and MUST be marked with the team name, contact name and contact number. Contact should be accessible via the provided phone number while at the track. NJMP personnel will be available for package pickup from 7:30a-6:00p each day. Teams and guests wishing to utilize an outside caterer for hospitality purposes will be required to pay a $10/person charge for each day of the hospitality event. NJMP does permit private chefs on premise for purposes of catering lunch, snacks, etc. for teams at no additional fee. ICE Ice is available for purchase at the concession stand in the Hangar in the Thunderbolt paddock or at the concession stand in the F1 New Jersey Karting Tower in the Lightning paddock. For tent rentals only, NJMP has an exclusive contract with Rental City - (856) 696-1666. No outside rental companies will be permitted to deliver tents on the premise without prior arrangements with NJMP. COMPETITOR RV CAMPING RVs and Toter Homes used for camping will be inside the Thunderbolt paddock. NJMP recommends that teams purchase camping in advance by contacting the NJMP Ticket Office, 856-327-7217. Camping will also be available for purchase upon arrival. RV/Toter Home camping is $125 for the duration of the event (August 13-15). We have a limited number of 50amp, 220-volt outlets, but do have conversion plugs that work with RVs in the event the generator cannot be run. RVs must park in the designated area on the paddock map. RVs should turn and pull in straight toward the power boxes. Please do not park parallel to through roads. RVs on the paddock ends should park so that awnings do not encroach more than three feet onto asphalt areas. Toter homes, because of their nature, may stay hooked up to the trailers and remain in the place where initially parked. NJMP will have two vendors on site for RV tank pumping and water refill. 2009 SANCTIONING BODY AND SERIES GUIDELINES When camping please observe quiet hours from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am by keeping noise to a minimum, turning off music and any generators. All fires must be contained and kept to a reasonable size. Ground fires are not permitted. Place bottles and plastic in available recycling bins and all garbage in the containers provided. HOSPITALITY RVs Teams with hospitality RVs must park them in the designated RV Camping/Hospitality Area located inside the Thunderbolt paddock. They are not permitted to park with the transporters. Hospitality RVs incur the same charges as RVs used for camping, $250 for the weekend. This includes electric. Hospitality RV spots can be pre-purchased online www.njmp.com or via our Ticket Office 856.327.7217. OVERHANG AND ENCROACHMENT ON PAVED AREAS Parked transporters, RVs or any other vehicle may not encroach on surrounding paved areas by more than three feet when fully opened and in use. This will be strictly enforced by NJMP Security and the NJ State Police, who will be on-site throughout the course of the weekend. PADDOCK POWER NJMP s Thunderbolt paddock is equipped with power throughout. All power boxes contain 35 and many contain 50amp, 220-volt service. Power is free to competitors. NJMP Security personnel will be roving throughout the paddock area and will unlock power boxes as necessary. FUEL If additional or alternate fuel is needed, NJMP will have Sunoco Race Fuel available in the both the Lightning and Thunderbolt Paddocks. Thunderbolt will offer 93, 100, 110 and 112. Lightning will offer 93, 100 and 110. 2009 SANCTIONING BODY AND SERIES GUIDELINES GENERAL TRACK RULES All participants must comply completely and fully with The State of New Jersey Motor Vehicle Racetrack Regulations Chapter 62. Copies of these regulations are available in PDF format from www.njmp.com. The paddock is open 24 hours. No unlicensed or unregistered vehicles are permitted outside of Paddock. Speed limit is 15mph in the Paddock and 25mph on the access roads unless otherwise posted. Stay ON established roads. Keep all non-race vehicles off the racetrack surface. NJMP discourages bringing pets to the track. Pets are allowed if they leashed and if you clean up after them. Otherwise, NJMP will fine the owner and both will be asked to leave. Do not take leashed pets onto false grid or pit areas. Pets are not allowed in any NJMP building or within 100 yards of any concession building. Do not drive any stakes into, or paint, or spill fuel on, any asphalt surface. Dispose of all waste in proper receptacles. Do not climb fences or enter areas behind spectator fences without obtaining permission from NJMP security or emergency personnel. The showers are located on the 1 st floor of the Hangar, located in the Thunderbolt paddock. Firearms and fireworks are strictly prohibited anywhere on the grounds. Beer and wine are available for sale at our concession stands. Beer in coolers is permitted for individual consumption only. NJMP is the sole provider for on-site concessions. All other vendors and food services must be preapproved by contacting Frank Gruber at 856-327-7204 or @njmp.com. Standing on or applying tape to pit wall is prohibited. The racecourse is closed from 5:30pm to 8:30am to all motorized traffic except facility personnel. New Jersey State Law prohibits smoking in ANY public building. This means you may NOT smoke inside ANY NJMP building. Smoking is also not permitted in the hot pits or anywhere that fuel is being dispensed. New Jersey State Law prohibits the dispensing of fuel by anyone other than the NJMP provided fuel attendant. Motorized mini-bikes with a 14 wheel size or smaller are strictly prohibited anywhere on NJMP property. Drive carefully and watch out for children.
