Conditions of play CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS 1. The A, A Reserve, B, C grades, Junior, Senior and Veterans Championships will be played over 72 holes. 2. The timesheet for the championships will be under the normal Friday night arrangements. 3. Dates for each round:- Round 1 Saturday 6 th October 2018 Round 2 Saturday 13 th October 2018 Round 3 Saturday 14 th October 2018 Round 4 Saturday 28 th October 2018 4. Normal handicap limits apply to each grade. Juniors must be under 18 years of age as at 1 October 2018. Senior Championship open to members 50 years and over as at 1 October 2018. 5. Normal Saturday competition fee applies and is to be paid on the day of each round. 6. Each round has a separate day event. 7. A seeded draw (A Grade only) will be made of the leading 8 players (scratch) for the 4 th round. Players who do not play their allocated time may not be eligible to win the Club Championship. 8. Any player reporting late to the tee may be disqualified under rule 6-3. 9. All ties in scratch events will be decided by a sudden death play-off on the final day (unless otherwise determined by The Golf Services Committee).

10. All ties in handicap events will be decided by count back. 11. All events will be controlled by The Golf Services Committee whose decision is final. 12. All protests must be submitted in writing within 15 minutes of completion of the round. 13. Players using motorised golf carts will not be eligible to compete for the Club Championships (scratch only) or qualify for Matchplay (A Grade Only), unless a Doctor s certificate is submitted. Motorised carts are allowed for A Reserve, B and C Grade and Junior/Senior scratch events. 14. MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIPS To be eligible for the Matchplay Championships, you must nominate your availability and interest before you start round 1 off the Club Championships. Conditions of play Matchplay Championship (A Grade) The top 8 eligible players from the Club Championships will qualify for the Matchplay Championship. Rounds 1 & 2 are played over 18 holes and/or until the match is decided. The Final round is a 36 hole final and/or until the match is decided. Dates for the Matchplay Championship are:- Round 1 Saturday 17 th November 2018 Tee time from 11.12am Round 2 Saturday 24 th November 2018 Tee time from 11.12am Final Round (36 hole final) Saturday 1 st December 2018 Conditions of play A Reserve, B and C Grade Matchplay Championship The top 8 players from A Reserve, B and C Grade in the Club Championships will qualify for the B and C Grade Matchplay Championship. All rounds are played over 18 holes and/or until the match is decided. CAPTAIN S KNOCKOUT The Captain s Knockout is an individual handicap Matchplay event using the Match Index on the scorecard. The nomination sheet will be on display on the Club Notice Board leading up to the event (if not enough members qualify on the qualifying day, those who have listed will be balloted into the draw. Qualifiers receive priority and will be seeded.) Conditions of play 1. No nomination fee is applicable to this event. 2. The normal member competition fee is payable on the day and you will not be included in the event of the day. 3. The Top 32 members from the qualifying round will be seeded and block times assigned on the timesheet. 4. All matches will be played from the competition of the day tee markers. 5. All matches must be played on the scheduled date and time. 6. Lowest handicap golfer in the group goes to scratch and the difference of the remaining handicap (to a maximum of 18) will determine the match index for each hole. All players are to use their current handicap per round to calculate the match index. 7. Matches that finish all square after 18 holes will continue on a sudden death basis until a winner is obtained. 8. The winners of each round are responsible for recording the result on the draw sheet located on the notice board. 9. All disputes must be referred to the Golf Services Committee in writing. Decisions made by the Golf Services Committee will be final.

SPENCE WOOD KNOCKOUT The Spence Wood Knockout is a 2 person team Matchplay event. The nomination sheet will be on display on the Club Notice Board leading up to the event. FOURSOMES CHAMPIONSHIP The 36 hole Foursomes Championship will be played over 36 holes. Round 1 & 2 Saturday 11 th August 2018 (Tee times from 7:00am) Conditions of play 1. All events to be controlled by the Golf Services Committee whose decision is final. 2. In the event of a protest, it must be lodged in writing with the Golf Services Committee within 15 minutes of completion of the round. 3. In the event of a Championship tie (scratch), a replay over 18 holes will be conducted. If at the end of the replay the match is still tied, the players will continue on a sudden death basis until a result is obtained. The time and date of the replay to be decided by the Golf Services Committee. 4. Handicap (Nett) ties will be determined by count back. 5. Second 18 holes must begin from opposite nine to first 18 holes. Players do not need to change the order of play for second 18 holes. Trophy allocation No team may win more than one trophy 1. MIXED FOURSOMES CHAMPIONSHIP The Mixed Foursomes Championship will be played over 36 holes. Conditions of play Round 1 Sunday 1 st July 2018 (18 holes) Round 2 Sunday 8 th July 2018 (18 holes) 1. All events are to be controlled by the Golf Services Committee whose decision is final. 2. In the event of a protest it must be lodged with the Golf Services Committee within 15 minutes of the conclusion of the round. 3. Competitors are requested to report to the starter 15 minutes prior to tee off. Players reporting late may be required to go to the end of the field and be redrawn with post entries. 4. Order of play must be reversed for the second 18 holes. 5. Championship ties will be decided by a play off over 18 holes on a date to be decided by the Golf Services Committee. If at the end of the 18 holes the match is still tied, the players will continue on a sudden death basis until a result is obtained. Handicap events will be determined by count back. VICE-CAPTAIN S SILVER PUTTER 1. The Vice-Captain s Silver Putter will be conducted as a four (4) round event and will be conducted in conjunction with the Monthly Medal events commencing August and ending November. 2. The event is closed to members of Penrith Golf Club with Saturday membership rights. 3. The event will be under the control of the Golf Services Committee. Conditions of play NAGGERS CUP 1. This event will be held on Sunday 22 nd April 2018 in conjunction with the event of the day. 2. Entry is open to male and female members of the Club in a recognised married or defacto relationship who are both members of Penrith Golf Club. 3. The event will be a Mixed 4BBB Stableford with a trophy being awarded to the winners.

MEDAL OF MEDALS Members who have won a Monthly Medal are eligible to compete for the Medal of Medals. The winner of the Medal of Medals will be the member with the lowest Nett score from the Final across all grades. The event runs November 2017 October 2018 with the Final played in November 2018. Conditions of play PENRITH OPEN AMATEUR 1. The Penrith Open Amateur will be conducted on Saturday 10 th March 2019. (Members $20 & Visitors $30) 2. Handicap limit members 36, Visitors 6 3. All players must be available to the starter 15 minutes prior to tee time. The starter reserves the right to reallocate late arrivals. 4. In the event of a tie, the players involved will be required to play off on a sudden death basis on holes 16, 17 & 18 unless the Golf Services Committee declares otherwise. 5. This event is under direct control of the Golf Services Committee. 6. A player may win only one trophy.

GREAT NORTHERN TOP GUN GREAT NORTHERN TOP GUN RULES & CONDITIONS OF PLAY TOP GUN Qualifying begins Saturday 3 rd November 2018 Prizes will be based upon the amount of funds collected over the qualifying period. There is a one off entry fee of $10 plus $2 for each attempt at qualifying for the final. All monies collected will be applied to the total prize pool. HOW TO QUALIFY A once only $10 entry fee payable to the Pro Shop prior to your first attempt to qualify. A payment of $2 to the Pro Shop at each attempt to qualify. The Pro Shop will imprint your scorecard with a TOP GUN stamp on payment of a $2 qualifying fee (YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING SURE YOUR CARD IS STAMPED). All score cards must be submitted because this is the only way to determine the fee s collected. Qualifying or attempting to progress up the leader board can be on any designated competition day when a singles event is run (Sat, Sun, and Wed). Qualifying is the aggregate score of the best two (2) Nett scores received per player. A minimum of 5 rounds must be played to qualify. Your aggregate qualifying score needs to better any player already on the leader board. The purpose of this is to encourage players to continue to attempt to qualify. In the event a tied aggregate Nett score comes in on the same day, the qualifier with the earliest lowest single Nett score takes precedence (e.g. player 1 has Nett 66 & 69, player 2 has Nett 68 & 67. Player 1 is the higher qualifier and player 2 is positioned next on the leader board).

The distribution of prizes will be announced once the total value of the prize pool is known. All decisions of the Golf Services committee in relation to the event are final. A leader board notice will be displayed in the club house the Pro Shop and locker room. The last day for qualifying will be SATURDAY 23 rd MARCH 2019 THE TOP GUN FINAL RULES The final will be played as a stoke event according to the R&A rules of golf excepting that the committee may direct that certain player(s) may not need to hole out if it is obvious that the player(s) will not have the highest net score on that hole, The committee will be judicious in the use of this decision. 19 players will tee up together on the 1 st tee at 10:30am. on Sunday 31 st MARCH 2019 All players to play off the Blue markers, All Balls in use must be marked by an official labelled 1 to 19, any replacement balls must be also be marked before playing your next shot. The player is responsible for marking his ball on the putting green. The player with the worst net score on the 1 st hole is eliminated; the same applies on the 2 nd through to the 17 th, If there is a tie for the worst net score on holes 1 through 17 a CHIP OFF will determine which player drops out, the spot to be determined by the Golf Services committee and the ball that is furthest from the hole will be eliminated even if the ball is on or off the putting green. The player who is the lowest qualifier will CHIP OFF first etc. The remaining 2 players left on the 18 th will fight it out to find the TOP GUN, in the event of a Tie the players shall replay the 18 th until a winner is declared. All competitors will play off their current handicap, except that the current handicap shall not be greater than the handicap used by the competitor to qualify for top gun.

Motorised transport are not permitted on the final day of play, the exception is if a play off is required on the 18 th motorised transport may be used, any disputes must be lodged to the committee during the play of the hole and the committee s decision is final. All qualifiers plus reserves (if notified) must attend a pre-match briefing. CALCUTTA 6:30pm Saturday 30 th March 2019

AUTUMN & MASTERS CUP Conditions of play 1. The Penrith Autumn and Masters Cup will be conducted on Saturday 11 th May 2019. This is a closed event and is strictly for members only. 2. Ties shall be decided on count back. Trophy allocation No player may win more than one trophy. 1. Penrith Autumn Cup 18 holes team aggregate Nett stroke score. Team to comprise of 4 members. The three (3) best Nett scores to determine team score. 2. Penrith Masters Cup 18 holes team aggregate scratch score. Team to comprise of 4 members. The three (3) best scratch scores to determine team score. 3. 18 holes individual stroke Nett score winner and runner up. 4. 18 holes individual stroke scratch score winner and runner up. 5. In case of a tie a count back will apply all four (4) scores will count. 6. This event is a stroke event. 7. Any player not completing the round will not be eligible to win a trophy.
