Scoring 1) Team scoring ASVÖ Cup (no change compared to previous version) One team consists of max. 2 rhythmic gymnasts (1x Child, 1x Junior), 4 female artistic gymnasts (2x Children, 2x Juniors) and 4 male artistic gymnasts (2x Children, 2x Juniors). Each gymnast gets points depending on the place of scoring; the higher the individual result, the higher the points. The five best individual results per team (regardless of discipline) count for the team score as follows: every 1 st place 25 points every 2 nd place 20 points every 3 rd place 15 points every 4 th place 14 points and so on until finally every 17 th place gets 1 point. No points for the following places. 2) Team scoring by discipline (NEW) In addition to the above-mentioned scoring modus, there will also be a victory ceremony according to MAG, WAG and RG teams separately. MAG and WAG: The team consists of the same gymnasts that enter the previousmentioned scoring modus (2 children and 2 juniors). The best 3 scores per piece of apparatus are relevant for the team score by discipline in MAG and WAG. Therefore, these could be 1 children score and 2 junior scores or 2 children scores and 1 junior score. RG: The best scores per piece of apparatus of 1 children and of 1 junior competitor enter the team score. These best scores are selected out of all rhythmic gymnasts of a certain club, region or nation (not only out of the nominated team). For ASVÖ team members: whereas in scoring modus 1) ASVÖ team members constitute a separate team, in scoring modus 2) they compete for their club or country. 3) Individual scoring (no change compared to previous version) As usual, individual all-around scores determine the best individualist. 4) Hanspeter Demetz Trophy (NEW) Lastly, the best MAG gymnast on floor earns a special price, the Hanspeter Demetz trophy, to honour our recently passed away Tyrolean gymnastics icon Hanspeter Demetz, as floor exercise was his standout piece of apparatus during his career as an artistic gymnast. 2/8
Participants Age categories and requirements See specific information for each discipline (further below). Teams: o 1 to 2 teams from each foreign town or region o 1 team ASVÖ -Austria (chosen by the ASVÖ Bundesfachwart ) o 1 to 2 teams from each Austrian federal state o up to 3 Tyrolean teams For organisational reasons, the total number of participants in each division is limited as follows: MAG 36 WAG 36 RG 12 If these limits are exceeded by the registration deadline, preference will be given to those countries which have a) participated in previous ASVÖ-Jugendcup Tournaments and/or b) paid the entry fee and submitted the forms for the participating gymnasts within the given deadline Competition Fee The competition fee includes competition, lodging and meals (Friday evening until max. Sunday morning): for EURO for every athlete and their coach(es) (MAG, WAG, RG) 100,00 for participants who are members of ASVÖ 50,00 for athletes and coaches of the ASVÖ team 0,00 for judges 0,00 A minimum of 1 judge per team and per discipline is obligatory. Unless a judge is provided, this fee has to be paid per missing judge 130,00 other delegation members (driver, parents, etc.) 130,00 Normally, the accommodation provides double or multi-bed rooms. Registration Deadline for the registration: 10 February 2019. The registration is only valid when the completed forms for each division separately have been submitted and the competition fee has been paid. ATTENTION: o The first of two different deadlines for the so-called registration of the number of all participants, which has existed until last year, is now suspended. Hence, there is only the above-mentioned deadline. Any registration submitted afterwards will be unsuccessful! o Also, the former deposit of 200,-- is no longer necessary to be paid. The competition fee will be prescribed to each submitter individually within 7 days after the deadline. The Organisation Committee is only going to book rooms for those who will have paid the competition fees within another 7 days.
