Compete plans are selected based on hours available to train: <8h, 8-10h, 10-12h, 12+h for triathlons. User assumptions: You are fit, healthy and injury free Are able to swim, cycle and run Have appropriate training kit Training is structured based on variables of a typical user. Please consult a doctor prior to starting the training plan if your general health is not of a good standard or consult a physiotherapist if you are currently injured.

Training Plans - Marketing STEP 3: Collateral Promote training plans through printed materials by adding the logo or a sentence about the offering in your event brochures, leaflets, direct mail postcards, advertisements and others. Highlight New! Online Training program! on all printed materials. Place your website address prominently on all materials. If you have more than one race a year, insert a flyer into your race bags to get people excited about registering and training for your next event. STEP 4: E-mail Marketing Whenever you send race updates or event information e-mails to your database, announce your new training program as well. Include links directly to your training page from e-mails. Include a Forward to a Friend feature.

Communicating your training plans through this means will entice athletes to register earlier and help them get better prepared for the race. Highlight your new online training programs in every edition. Include links directly to the training page of your website. Use registrants quotes to show how training can work for anyone. STEP 6: Press Releases The offering of your new training plans to participants can be a great angle to grab reporters attention to your race and publish it in the media. Idea: Find a media personality to train and participate in your event. Suggest that they track and report on their training progress.
