Class 1 - Club - Horse 80cm Club (Single Phase). Time Allowed: 2 minutes. Start Height 80cm. Open to non-registered or British Showjumping Club competitors and horses. Stallions are not permitted to jump in any Club classes. Qualifying period: 1st July 2016 to 30th June 2017 Numbers to qualify: The Top 20 from each of the four height category league tables, will qualify for the National Club Championships held at the British Showjumping National Championships. Club registered horse(or pony)/rider combinations are eligible to qualify and in more than one height category. Points 1st = 12, 2nd = 10, 3rd = 8, 4th = 6, 5th = 4, 6th = 3. Double Clear Points = 3. Points are allocated depending on the number of starters; every one in five starters is eligible for points. If you gain a double clear you will receive three points regardless of starters. If a combination competes in more than two consecutive height classes per show day only the points from the bigger classes will be graded. Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any Senior International Team (4* or 5* Nations Cup in the last 10 years, World, European Championships & Olympic Games) are not eligible. Pony Riders, Children, Juniors and Young Riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last five years are not eligible (excluding Veterans and Para Teams). Qualifies for: 85cms National Amateur Second Rounds. Qualifying period: 1st September-31st August inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horse/rider combinations which jump clear in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least five 85cm National Amateur First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in the respective height classes at the National Amateur Championships. Horses which jump clear in the first round followed by a clear round in the jump off, in at least one 85cm National Amateur First Round Competition held in the qualifying period, will qualify to compete in the National Amateur 85cm Second Round competition. The winner of a particular 85cm National Amateur First Round Competition will not automatically qualify solely as a result of that competition. Rules No entries will be accepted without payment. Payment must be made online via PayPal or by post with a cheque. All horses to be 4yrs & over. Dogs must be kept on a secure lead at all times. A hard hat to EN1384, PAS015, prefixed ASTMor SEI must be worn & fastened at all times while mounted. American standard SNELL E2001 SNZ 3838 (Australasia) also permitted. Any rider found to be using a hat to a lower specification will be disqualified. Neither the organiser of this event, nor any person acting on their behalf, the owners of the showground or agents acting on their behalf, accept any liabilty for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or any other persons or property whatsoever. Entry fees are only refunded if the event is cancelled or classes are full. There are no refunds for call offs once the closing date passed. Cantering is only permitted in practice & competition areas. There will be a limited number of entries available per class. The Judges decision is final Objections must be made in writing to the show secretary within 3omins of any incident along with a deposit of 50. This will only be refunded where the objection is upheld. Practice fences will be flagged & must be jumped in the correct direction. Please be courteous & ensure you leave the venue as you find it including parking areas.
