NGN Series 8-64 nitrogen generator
Applications how it works RK series 5-40 F Blanketing of Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Gas Assisted Injection Moulding (GAIM) Laser Cutting Food Heat Treament of Ferrous & Non-Ferrous Metals Inerting of Flammable Liquids Prevention of Dust Explosions Re-flow and Wave Soldering of PCBs UV-Curing of Coatings The NGN nitrogen generators extract the available nitrogen in the ambient air from the other gases by applying the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology. During the PSA process, compressed and cleaned ambient air is led to a molecular sieve bed, which allows the nitrogen to pass through as a product gas while adsorbing all other gases. The sieve then releases the adsorbed gases to the atmosphere during the regeneration process. Subsequently, the bed is then purged with nitrogen before fresh compressed air will enter for a new production cycle. In order to guarantee a constant product flow, NGN nitrogen generators use a series of towers, which alternatively switch between the adsorption and the regeneration phases. 2 P. 888.966.9007
advantages enhanced safety Heavy, high pressure gas cylinders are no longer needed because of advanced technology, thus allowing for lower operating pressures. Storage is not hazardous because cryogenic nitrogen is eliminated. automatic starting/stopping Completely automatic starting and stopping of nitrogen production (in direct response to demand from your downstream consumption) gives way for unattended operation. This decreases overhead, as it means less full-time staff are needed. easy system adjustment If your nitrogen requirements change, simply adjust your system by varying the number of PSA modules. This can be done in-house because it is simple to do and does not require special tools or certifications. cost savings A low initial investment combined with very low operating costs results in a significant reduction of your nitrogen expenses. Savings can be up to 60%, when compared to buying bottled nitrogen from an outside company. high system reliability & quality With stainless steel process piping, valves and regulators, heavy-duty PLC, the NGN s quality is guaranteed. guaranteed stable nitrogen purity Real-time purity monitoring in combination with an automatic blow-off system and a nitrogen discharge flow regulation, guarantees that your nitrogen output quality meets and exceeds standards and specifications. Even if nitrogen demand exceeds the maximum production capacity of your nitrogen generation system, the NGN maintans quality output. compact All NGN modular PSA nitrogen generators fit through standard door openings and can be handled easily by manual pallet trucks. Installation is possible everywhere; from a small corner in your facility, to the inside of ISO freight containers. 5 year warranty convenient maneuverability easy to service simple controls modular design 5 year parts and labor warranty covers all major components of the NGN. 5 technical information Operating Pressure Operating Temperature (feed air) Dew Point (at ambient temperature) Voltage, Frequency Power Consumption Sound Level Compressed Air Quality (Inlet)* Filters (Inlet + Outlet) Number of Modules Per Bank Max Number of Dual Bank Slave Units 87-145 PSI 41⁰ - 104⁰ F -40⁰ F 110-230 V/ 60 Hz <300W 75dB(A) Class 1.4.1 acc. to ISO 8573-1 (0.1um; 37.4⁰ F; <0.01 mg/m3/h) Included Min 1; max 8 3 (each slave unit has the same performance as master unit) Using resources surrounding you in order to deliver lowest cost of nitrogen consumption Options NGN series 8-64 standard components Feed air filters PSA Adsorber Vessel Module(s) in anodised Aluminium Process Valves, Regulators and Piping in Stainless Steel and compatible for Food Grade Nitrogen Exhaust Silencers in Stainless Steel PLC for fully automatic operation of the NITROSWING Generator, including EtherNet/IP Connection for remote monitoring & control Touch Panel based Human Machine Interface (HMI) with System Diagnostics Onboard Oxygen Analyser with Zirconium Oxide Sensor Dual Bank (max. 3) Electronic Product Flow Meter Product Flow Totaliser Pressure and Temperature Transmitter Nitrogen Pressure and Temperature Transmitter Set of external Nitrogen Sterile Filters Special Devices and Systems for Mixing, Metering and Analysing of Gases based on a composition of N2, CO2 and/or O2 4 P. 800.371.8380 888.966.9007 E..com info@fluidairedynamics.com www.fluidairedynamics.com
