The uniqueness of playing golf in Italy is the stunning surroundings in the form of mountains, valleys, lakes - well nature as a whole. At the same time Italy unites the game of golf with an amazing food culture. Golf in Italy is in many ways a unique experience and a holiday experience that differs from golf trips to, for example, Spain or Portugal. At Travel2Umbria we have organized a fantastic golfing experience targeted to people with an appetite for the good things in life - or as we say down here La dolce Vita. We have composed a program where you will meet Italy with all the senses, and the emphasis is on a combination of relaxation, golf, cultural and gastronomic experiences. On this golf and gourmet trip, we will not only give you golf trips on several fantastic courses - we will also lead you into the unsurpassed Umbrian food culture. We will introduce you to the region s gastronomy. make visits to vineyards, olive groves and we will go truffle hunting - and during it all make sure that you get high-quality food and culture experiences. We are not a travel agent and therefore can not offer ready-made packages with plane tickets. But we plan and arrange everything else. We provide accommodation - of course with full board, we plan excursions og activities. And we ensure that there is always a guide / group leader who ensures that everything runs smoothly. In addition, we are of course helpful with instructions for booking flights, car hire, etc.
PROGRAM 2018 Dag 1: 17:00 Ariival at Vialba, Montone After check-in, welcome drinks and a 4-course dinner are served. Dag 2: 10:00 Today we go to the amazing and incredibly beautiful Agtognolla Golf Club, one of the most spectacular and challenging golf courses in Italy. Here are 18 holes located in the most breathtaking landscape. The course is designed by Robert Trent Jones Junior, which has made Antognolla an exciting course for golfers of all levels. Dag 3: Today we are going hunting for the diamonds of theearth, the divine truffles, which will of course be part of today s lunch. The tour will be carried out with guide and of course truffle dog. The Afternoon and evening is spent on your own as is dinner. If desired, extra excursion can be arranged for additional payment.. Dag 4: Today we head to Lambourghini Golf resort where today s golf court waiting. The famous creator of the exotic Lamborghini sports car, Ferruccio Lamborghini, has created this 9-hole golf course on the familys property between vineyards and forests. After the play, we will get a special tour in the Lambourghini family vineyard, where we also have the opportunity to taste a selection of wines. Of course we have lunch at the restaurant of the family. On the way home we will make a stop at Lake Trasimeno where there will be time to stroll around the beautiful streets or along the banks of Italy s 4th largest lake. Dag 5: Today is the trip to the beautiful 18 hole course of Perugia Golf Club. A very exciting course, where fairways are surrounded by rich vegetation and require precision from the golfer when playing. Dag 6: Today s 18 holes are played at Agtognolla Golf Club. Dag 7: 9:30 Today we will visit some amazing local producers of cheese and chartcurrie, where we will learn about the different production methods - and of course taste the products. The afternoon is for exploring on your own. At 19:30 we meet for dinner at Locanda del Capitano, an fabulous local restaurant, owned and operated by one of Italy s most famous chefs, Giancarlo Politto. Dag 8: Departure for Airport
