The riding area is 90 X 270 with an attached upstairs office and heated lounge to allow for viewing of the competition, and a holding area in which to be with horses at ringside. Make a right at light onto Old York Rd/179S. Follow 179S 1.1 miles and turn right onto Boss Rd. Go 0.2 miles to Black River Farm From the South: Rt 295 North toward Trenton. Rt. 295 North becomes Rt. 95 South. Take exit #4 to Rt. 31 North. Bear right onto Pennington Rd (Rt. 31N) toward Pennington. Continue on Rt. 31N for approx. 10.5 miles. Before the overpass, bear right onto Rt 202/31 towards Flemington. Follow signs for 202S and exit to the right, then turn left onto Wertsville Rd and cross back over Rt 202. Bedding is available for purchase. No screws or nails may be used, and all staples must be removed before departure. Stall fees apply to tack, equipment and grooming stalls used. HUNTER CLASSIC RULES & GUIDELINES The Classics for our "A" Divisions will be run as separate classes from the division, and will be run as the last class over fences each day of the competition. The Classics for our "C" Divisions will be run with the first round of the classic being the second over fences round of the division. The top twelve horses will return for a second round. Entry into a Classic must be made before the start of the division. There must be 12 entries before the class begins for a Classic to run. Fences 2'6" 140. $750 WINTER WONDERLAND HUNTER DERBY * ENTRY FEE: $75 ELIGIBILITY: Open to horses ridden by Juniors, Amateurs or Professionals. Riders are not limited to the number of horses they may ride. JUDGING: To be scored under the open numerical judging system. The top 12 or top one-third will return for the second round in reverse order of their scores. Scores will be added to determine the winners. In the case of a tie, judge's decision will break the tie. FIRST ROUND: To be shown over a hunter classic type course of at least 10 fences 3' in height with 3'3" options. Fences to simulate those found in hunting country, including post and rail, coop, wall, hedge, brush and log. To be judged on performance, hunter pace and style, quality, substance and movement. After the judge's preliminary scores are given, one bonus point will be awarded for each high option chosen. SECOND ROUND: To be shown over a hunter handy type course of at least 8 fences 3', with 3'3" options. To include elements such as roll-backs, tight turn options, trot jumps, hand gallop, halt and/or back, or work through a gate while mounted. To be judged on performance, hunter pace, style, quality, substance and movement. After the judge's preliminary scores are given, up to 10 bonus points may be awarded in consideration of handiness of round and brilliance. Proper attire required, formal attire requested. RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. Pre-entries can be made by mail, phone, fax or email. Post entries will be accepted at $25.00 per horse. All walk-ins will be charged the post entry fee of $25.00. 2. Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rule book will be conducted and judged in accordance herewith. 3. All hunter classes will be judged on performance & soundness with emphasis on soundness & manners unless otherwise noted. 4. The All Seasons Horse Show, the All Seasons Horse Show Management, Briarwood Farms, Inc., Katharine Benson, the Horse Show Committee or property owners will not be responsible for any accident, loss or damage which may occur to any horse, rider or equipment before, during or after the show. 5. Should any question arise that is not covered in the USEF Rule book the same shall be referenced to the Show Committee whose decision shall be final. 6. Failure to enter the ring within three minutes of being called will incur elimination. 7. All fees must be paid and entry complete before numbers can be issued. 8. The Committee reserves the right to cancel, combine, change location or add any class(es) or schooling deemed necessary. 9. Ties for first place will be jumped off, all others will remain tied receiving equal points, ribbons and prizemoney. 10. All riders must wear proper attire including proper headgear at all times mounted on the showgrounds. 11. All Model Classes will be given half points towards the Championship of the division, and all other classes of the division will receive full points. Prizemoney and Championships will be awarded at the conclusion of the division at the show office. 12. All pets must be leashed. 13. It is a condition of entry to the showgrounds that these rules and regulations be read, understood and accepted. 14. Jump orders will be constructed at the discretion of the show management by the steward. 15. A processing fee of $40.00 will be made for all non-negotiable checks. Any returned checks not "made good" within 10 days will be forwarded to the USEF for collection per USEF Rules. 16. ATTN EXHIBITORS: Minors who do not have a valid driver s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind including, but no limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooter, or farm utility vehicles on the competition grounds of recognized competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they care accompanied by an adult with a valid driver s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Rule 6. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. 17. Should the veterinarian on call be needed to complete permanent measurement of horses or ponies, then the appointed time for said measurements will be 10:00 a.m. on the first weekend day of the show. ALL ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE VETERI- NARIAN FOR MEASUREMENTS MUST BE MADE IN ADVANCE THROUGH SHOW MANAGEMENT BY THE TUESDAY PRECEDING THE COMPETITION. All trainers, owners, exhibitors, or their agents are to properly dispose of needles or other sharp disposable instruments in the available sharps containers or be subject to a $100 fine.
