OUR SPONSORS 2017
WELCOME The Comms Business Golf Society (CBGS) was formed in 2008 with the aim of bringing golfers working within the ICT Channel together on a regular basis for some friendly competition and relaxed networking. We choose fantastic venues that are enjoyable for golfers across the handicap range and that come at a cost that doesn t break the bank. We have trophies for individual winners, best team, nearest the pin and longest drive at each event and every year a Channel Golfer of the Year is crowned. Just to make things interesting we use Golf Genius, a live scoring app which allows members to keep up with who s at the top of the leader board in real time which adds a professional tournament feel to the event. Our Sponsors generous support is always appreciated by our members who represent all types of Channel business including resellers, distributors, service providers and manufacturers. Anyone working within the Channel is welcome, typically our members are board level but don t let that put you off!

FOXHILLS, SURREY WEDNESDAY 27 TH SEPTEMBER Surrounded by Scots pine, beech and silver birch trees, the Longcross is one of Surrey s top tree-lined golf courses. Its 14th hole was voted by BBC Radio 5 Live as one of the greatest holes ever played, while the course was also named in the top 100 golf courses in England in 2015. The 408-yard par 4 first hole sets the tone for your round and is particularly tricky for wild hitters; fire your drive between a funnel of trees, then negotiate two bunkers which protect the front of the green. The final hole is uphill, with a large tree narrowing the fairway for your second shot. After a partially blind approach shot, you can reach the green shared with Bernard Hunt s 18th in view of the Clubhouse. www.foxhills.co.uk DETAILS Start Time: 0830-0930 Registration 0930-1050 Tee times 1600 1630 Drinks/networking 1630 1800 Dinner & Prize giving 1800 Departure Address: Stonehill Road, Ottershaw Surrey, KT16 0EL Price: 95
