Dear Camp Attendees, On the 2 nd of September you are going to the camp farm De Kievit in Esbeek together with your fellow mentors, buddies, amigo/as and international students. In this guide you can find all the information you need about this weekend. We are guests at De Kievit so behave as such. Read and remember the rules, and keep an eye on fellow participants so they don t violate them either. In this camp guide you can also find the program for the weekend. We are doing everything to make sure that we can make this weekend a great start of the semester and we are sure it will be! What is included in the price? HOUSE RULES If you break or damage something, you will have to refund it. Nobody is allowed to enter the owner s house without the owner s permission, and will be accompanied by somebody of the board or camp committee. Smoking, drinking and eating in the dorms is forbidden at all times It s absolutely forbidden to consume other alcoholic drinks than those purchased at the bar in the recreation room. If we find brought items not belonging at the camp they will be taken by the Camp Committee or Board. After 11pm it s not allowed to make noise outside of the recreation room. Moving beds in the dorms is not allowed for personal safety reasons. Also don t lock the dorms at night while sleeping due to fire prevention regulations. It is not allowed to enter the courtyard at any moment of the day! After 9pm the door at the bar will be closed and can not be opened anymore. Food-fights are forbidden. Starting or participating in a food-fight will lead to immediate removal from the campsite. Drugs are forbidden. Possession of drugs will lead to immediate removal from the campsite. Turning on the fire alarm without good reason is not allowed. Costs incurred will be for the person responsible for the act and will be removed from the campsite. Important: The Introductioncamp Committee (Dark Blue) and Board (Yellow) will be in charge of the camp. Follow their directions! Violation of any of the rules can be punished by exclusion from the camp. Not only the Committee and Board members can decide to exclude someone, the campsite owner can make this decision as well. Furthermore, violations of the law will be passed on to the police.
PACK LIST Strong shoes for sports, dancing, and ones that can get dirty. Swimming clothes. Sports clothing. Raincoat. Sleeping bag, pillow, and a fitted sheet. Toiletries. Enough money for your drinks and snacks during the weekend (It will not be expensive but there is no ATM in the area and you are not allowed to bring your own alcoholic drinks.). In case you want to smoke bring enough cigarettes, as there is no opportunity to buy these at the campsite. Phone & camera charger and cable to connect to the computer. A good mood and a lot of enthusiasm!

SCHEDULE Verbs is an abbreviation of Professor Verbernelaan, the student accommodation located next to Tilburg University. This will be the meeting place for transportation to Intro Camp. The first busses will be leaving Verbs at 15:30. You will be divided into the different busses, there will be a schedule for who is in what bus published soon. Please be there on time! We leave on time. FLAG GAME As a team you will create a group flag with the material provided at the departure point. This will relate to your team number and theme. This flag will stay with you from the start of the camp until the end of your semester, guard your flag and look after it. Deductions: Not having your flag present during ceremonial periods and team activities or if your flag is captured. Only members of the Intro Camp Committee (Dark Blue) and Board (Yellow) are allowed to capture flags. Any teams caught another team s flag will have all their points removed. Please play along with the rules and let s make the camp and the flag game the best one yet! On behalf of the Intro Camp Committee and Board we want you to have fun at camp and the flag game is seen as one of these important exciting elements that we all enjoy.
NOTICE INFORMATION We cannot accept bills of 100 euros, so make sure you bring smaller bills!
