The eastern tract also has four bass ponds, with three of the ponds totaling ten acres which are all connected and increase in size. WILDLIFE The property is home to many different species of game animals and is an ideal hunting property. Property has a large population of whitetail deer, and a recent trail cam survey revealed a healthy population with acceptable ratios of does to bucks with healthy weights for all deer surveyed, along with several large bucks that demonstrated evidence of good trophy genetics. Property is also home to a resident population of turkeys as well, as it is in an area that produces a healthy turkey population and good sized toms. Property offers many wing-shooting opportunities with a large resident population of wood ducks and doves, as several food plots in the flood zones surrounding the creeks create the perfect environment for hunting wood ducks. In 2009, several large millet plots planted at the property consistently brought in hundreds of doves at a time and sustained a large population through the second and third seasons. Several other suitable dove fields can be planted and hunted on a rotation throughout the three seasons to provide successful dove shoots and maintain a healthy resident population. Although the property does not presently have a resident quail population, the large tracts of plantation style pines on the Eastern Tract are ideal for a quail hunting operation. 7
