Wyoming State Muzzleloader Association s News December, 2018 Whew.. Where did summer go? Here it is fall already, and Winter will be approaching very fast, with all the holidays too. I hope all of you had a great hunting season, and have many stories to tell. As for me, I did draw a Big Horn Sheep tag after twenty years of putting in, and filled my tag eight days before my season closed with a nice ram. If you have any hunting pictures or stories you would like to share, send them my way, and I will try to put them in the upcoming newsletter. Many things are coming up. Convention is coming up in January. Look for the flyer, with all the details in the newsletter. I hope that all of you can attend at least one fun filled day, and I hope that all of you can attend the general meeting as well. If you have any flyers for any upcoming events, please bring them with you to convention, or email me all of your information to WsmlaNews@gmail.com. So, until the next newsletter: Happy Shooting. The Sierra Madre Muzzle Loading Rifle Club s Mike Underwood Memorial Turkey Shoot The Mike Underwood Memorial Turkey shoot turned out to be a good shoot even though it was cold. We had 11 shooters. One of the shooters was Tae-Ree Nickelson, Chris Nickelson s grandson. He had to warm up a couple of times, but he was a trooper. We had a good lunch consisting of ham and beans, sloppy joes, cookies, cake and cinnamon rolls. Good food helps you warm up inside. Our next shoot is on December 9 th. We will have the shoot in the morning and have our Christmas Party right after. Maybe we will get lucky and have a bit warmer day. Happy Holidays from the Sierra Madre Muzzle Loading Rifle Club! Thank you to Crystal Gillen for sending some great pictures, of the Sierre Madre Muzzle Loaders Turkey Shoot. It looks like everyone had a great time and enjoyed the day.
