Official Table Roster: Rule 7-1 Article 1(a)(b) Lineup Sheet: Rule 7-1 Article 2 No later than 10 min prior to the end of the timed, prematch warmup, a coach from each team shall submit in writing to the scorer an accurate roster giving names and uniform numbers of all players. Any teammate designated as a libero in the match may result on the roster with 2 numbers. The 1st number represents the uniform number to be worn as a non-libero player; the 2nd number represents the number to be worn as a libero (e.g. 15/L4). If the libero player s uniform number is the same as his/her non-libero uniform number, it is no necessary to identify the libero number on the roster. The libero number shall not be a duplicate of any other player on the roster. Failure to submit to the scorer no later than 10 min before the end of the timed prematch warmup, a written, accurate roster including teammate s name & uniform numbers results in a loss of rally/point being awarded the opponent when the inaccuracy is discovered. The roster shall be corrected. Failure to list on the roster a player/substitute entering the set results in a loss or rally/point being awarded the opponent. The player/substitute may enter the set after the roster is corrected. NOTE: When a player s number changes because the player must change a uniform with blood on it, the roster is corrected & no penalty is assessed. (11-4-3) No later than 2 min prior to the end of timed prematch warmup, a coach from each team shall submit to the scorer an accurate, written lineup listing the uniform numbers fro the 6 starting players in the proper serving order. Only 1 libero may be designated per set & must be designated on the lineup prior to each set. Thereafter, the written lineup shall not be changed except between sets of a match (no later than 1 min remaining in the timed interval or intermission when used), for a legal substitution prior to the start of the set, or to replace a starting player who is injured/ill prior to the start of the set.
Official Table Cont Libero Tracker: Rule 5-7 The libero tracker shall: Enter on the tracking sheet the starting players in the proper service order, when this info is received from the scorer. Record libero replacements & substitutions. Notify the R2 during the 1 st dead ball when there is a discrepancy with a replacement. Notify the R2 if the liber doesn t remain out of the set for one rally between replacements, unless the libero is replacing the player in the right back position & will serve the next rally Timer: Rule 5-8 The timer shall: Test the timing device to be certain it is in proper working order. Time the prematch warm-up period. Time the interval for each charged time-out beginning with the ref s signal, & give an audio signal at 60 seconds or as instructed by the R2 for a time-out ending earlier. Time the interval for each injury timeout, on a timing device other than the visible scoreboard Time the interval between sets, 3 min & 5 min when intermission is used.
Official Score Sheet Rule 5-6 Receive team roster s no later than 10 min before match. Receive team lineup s no later than 2 min before match. Fill in all respectable areas of scoresheet before start of match (Team names, level, date, start time, lineups, who has 1 st serve, both ref s names) During each set keep track of team scores, loss of rally, time-outs, subs, loss of rally, penalties, correct server, illegal subs, notify R2 of set point. Record final scores for each set. Have ref review & sign. The official score is the individual points being kept by the official scorer. Whenever a discrepancy occurs between this score & the visible scoring device or another part of the scoresheet, the individual points shall be considered official & correct.
Second Referee: Lineup Card Rule 5-3 Article 2(b): For the second referee, a whistle, lineup card, a pen/pencil, a set of yellow and red cards, a coin and a watch.
