Dear Parents and Swimmers, If you have received this material, it is because you have requested information regarding the new Olympus Aquatics program. We are very excited to share this with you. As a new program we have some important developments coming up. The attached information is for this fall season, September 3 to February 28. We will be moving into an awesome new facility in February. The new pool will be located at Olympus High School (4055 South 2300 East). Until then, we will be training at Granite High Pool (3300 South 500 East). Swimming is a great sport that can be enjoyed for a life time. In swimming, there is no left field, no bench, no sidelines, and very few concussions. All swimmers participate together. Every swimmer has the ability to experience personal growth and success. Olympus Aquatics is a USA Swimming team offering competitive swimming, instruction, and training to swimmers of all levels. Whether your swimmer is aiming for Olympic Trials or across the pool, we have something for you. This October we will launch our new website. This website will support real time on deck mobile applications like Meet Mobile and Touch Pad, the ability to pay / register on line, and the ability to privately view your athlete s events and profile on-line. We can even take attendance on deck using our smart phones. We will be adding dry land training, core conditioning, and swimming specific strength workouts. Teams and workouts will be coached by Tommy Thorum, Julie Tate, and Shawn Stringham. Additional qualified coaches will be brought on as necessary to maintain a low swimmer to coach ratio. Space is limited so register soon. In order to provide a quality workout, we must limit the number of swimmers per lane. This is based on age and ability. We are now accepting registrations. Please contact Tom Thorum for questions and general information or visit us online at: www.olympusaquatics.com. You may send completed registrations to: Olympus Aquatics c/o Melissa Stringham 1917 East 3780 South Salt Lake City, Utah 84106 mmstringham@yahoo.com Sincerely, Thomas M.
