LOWER SCHOOL CLUBS Year 4 Autumn Term 2016

INTRODUCTION A wide selection of clubs are on offer to boys in the Lower School every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon). Options change termly. With their class teacher, boys will have the opportunity to choose one club per day from the selection given. We encourage boys to discuss options with their parents. However, it is important to note that numbers are limited for most clubs. We suggest boys have a 1st, 2nd and even 3rd choice for each day. Hopefully they will have an opportunity to do a club next term if their favourite is full this time. Please have a look at the options in this booklet and discuss with your son. Some clubs, particularly musical groups, are not optional. Class teachers will do their very best to accommodate all the boys requests. Enjoy seeing what is on offer! After School Clubs There are a few clubs available to Lower School boys which take place after school. Many of the clubs listed are offered by outside professionals or have associated costs and you will thus incur a charge should you wish your son to attend. Please be aware that membership does not automatically continue from term to term and all clubs require you to reapply. Places are limited for most clubs and boys names will be drawn from a hat if they are oversubscribed. You will be informed if your application has been successful at the start of next term. Boys who have not attended previously will be given priority. Many clubs require you to use the Parent Message Centre to apply.
