Holiday Cheer Promotion 2014 Date: November 7-December 20 Overview: Village businesses were seeking a mechanism to raise awareness of the Village as a destination during the holidays and to get consumers in the mindset of spending their holiday cash here. 23 businesses participated plus WaterStone as a sponsor. Promotional Details: Holiday Cheer was kicked off with a Holiday Open House the weekend of November 7-9 as a means of getting in front of other holiday promotions and get people coming to the Village early in their shopping. The next event heavily promoted and highlighting participating businesses was Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. Next was the Tree Lighting on December 5 th. After the Tree Lighting, the promotion was heavily on driving people into participating businesses by promoting their specials and their gift basket giveaways.
