SHMS Students Star in Youth Rugby State Championships! The Media Rugby Club U-13 Team won the Rugby PA State Championships this past Sunday, May 19 th verse the Downingtown Rugby Club at Cumberland Valley High School. The 45-19 win caps an undefeated season for the U-13 team, which includes SHMS students Ryan Elias, Devon Moore, Ethan Subers, and Cameron Yarborough. Congratulations Wolfpack! Students participated in a Civil War Scavenger Hunt, Civil War Family Feud, heard Civil War music and viewed the movie Glory. SHMS would like to thank the following guest speakers for their participation in our Civil War Days Program: Ron Young, Marti Trzepacz, Nancy Webster, James McLaughlin, Rick Miller, Peggy Beck, Joe Becton, Mr. Reiger, Mr. Pearlman, Hannah Woodworth, Eli Manaker, Michael Falkowski, Paul Roier and Mr. Rudd. By Wednesday we had visited the famous castle Neuschwannstein in Bavaria and the BMW Museum and Olympic Village in Munich. By the end of the trip, our travelers had experienced typical German hikes, visited museums, the Munich spring fair and put their German to good use ordering meals.

Congratulations to the Science Olympiad team who attended the national tournament at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio this past weekend. The team is ranked 14th in the country!
