Submitted by, Tracy Webb NWRDC Gymkhana Chairperson Board of Director From The Editor Membership Dues - Later on in this newsletter you will find an application for your 2014 club membership. According to the club by-laws, "To maintain the status of member in good standing, membership renewal fees should be paid by January 30." Many of you may not realize that there is a very good reason for this. As discussed at the last meeting, the club has some very significant expenses that are due early in the year, before the income from our events starts coming in. Most notibly, our insurance and property taxes. Please support your club by getting those 2014 membership dues in early! Forms will also be available at the banquet. Future of Newsletter - Also discussed at the last meeting was the future of the newsletter. The newsletter is quite a time consuming item to put together and mail out. It was voted on and decided that the newsletter will now be published every other month. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but hopefully it will result in a more informative newsletter with more content. I would also like to know what you, as members, would like to see in the newsletters. Some things we have done in the past or I have heard interest in are results, equine wellness articles, member spotlights, classifieds, and advertisements. What's important to you? Let me know in person when you see me or send me an email at maureen.hoague@gmail.com.
