Page 2 GENERAL 4-H NEWS We re on Facebook! 63rd Annual Grimes County Fair The dates for the 2015 Grimes County Fair have been set for May 23-June 5, 2013. I will send out an email as soon as Fair Books are available. You may also refer to www.grimescountyfair.com for any information needed. **Remember** The Grimes County Fair Association requires that exhibitors must attend at least five (5) 4-H or FFA meetings in order to be eligible to participate in the County Fair. Please be aware of this rule and make sure that you are enrolled on 4-H Connect and you sign in at every meeting that you attend. If you do not sign it, you will not be counted as present. County Photography Entries Due: February 23rd Time: 5:00 p.m. Where: Extension Office We will follow Grimes County Fair rules for how the photos must be printed, mounted, size, ect. However, we will follow the state categories. County photo results will be used to qualify senior age members for state. Each member can enter one in each category. Categories: Animals (Domestic), Animals (Wildlife), Catch-All, Details and Macro, Digital Darkroom, Dominant Color, Elements of Design, Food, Marine/Aquatic, Nature/Landscape, Night Photography, People, Plant/Flora, Storyboard, Theme (Inspiration) County Roundup When: March 9th Time: TBA Deadline: Entries are due by February 27th by 5 p.m. There are many different contest. Everyone is encouraged to join in on donating and/or attending delivery! Teddy bears can be dropped of at the extension office or delivered to Sherry or Jodilyn Marrs County Food and Fashion Show When: February 28th Entries Due: February 9th More information will be sent out after the first of the year!

I will pick up broilers and bring them back to the extension office. Minimum Order: 25 (increments of 25) Entry Fee: $8.00 All orders need to be placed with Debby Kimich. Call Debby with questions 936-6626901. All money is due at time of ordering/entering.
