Lessons Racquet Restringing Let's get those tennis games up and in shape! Form your own small group and take a clinic or a private lesson to address your areas of concern. Lessons will help to improve your weaker areas and build on your strengths. Lessons will help your tennis game - that we can assure you! Please contact Tennis Director Mike Brandon at mbrandon@evergreen-lm.com for lessons. Private and group lessons accessible upon request. Bring in your racquet to have it inspected for restringing. RE- MEMBER that racquets should be restrung at least three times per year. A properly strung racquet will aid you in ball striking, and arm troubles will also benefit with new strings. Mike s Corner The Reserve My Court reservation system seems to be working effectively. Please keep in mind that the person that reserves the court must be a player on the court (No ghost reservations please). Ball Machine requests come to my email as in the past so I can try to accommodate your desired time. I have been asked to assist with the overall condition of the Pickle Ball courts as in wind screens, and net repair and will be happy to assist. Reflecting back over this past season: Hurricane Irma damage to our tennis facility was a nightmare. Three first place banners are now hanging. More and more new players moving in are participating in league play. Three brand new League Teams will be at Somerset for the 2018-2019 season: Ladies 4.0, Ladies 3.5-, and Men s Blue C. We hosted the biggest Wilson Demo Day in the state of Florida for the entire year! I m looking forward to a little break in the extreme action that will allow me to add more material to the courts and replace a few worn nets. I am entering year 5 at Somerset and want to thank all that have made this positon a pleasure. Sincerely, Mike Brandon Tennis Director mbrandon@evergreen-lm.com Please use this email for any tennis related issues.
