The topic under discussion will be the 2018-2019 School Improvement Plan. Wednesday, October 31, is Costume Day at Baker. Students and staff may choose to wear costumes in school all day. Wearing costumes is completely optional and at the discretion of parents. Each parent who is allowing his/her child to wear a costume is asked to work with his/her child on costume selection. All costumes must be middle school appropriate. The following will not be allowed: Weapons (real or toy) Masks Gory or bloody costumes or accessories Please note that all school rules regarding appropriate attire remain in effect on Costume Day. Parents will be called to bring a change of clothes for students not adhering to our dress code. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in making this a successful event. Save the date! Baker STEM Science Fair & Expo Night Coming November 15, 2018 at Baker MS Calling all budding scientists, engineers and anyone interested in science. The Baker PTA in partnership with the Science team invite you to participate in the Science Fair and STEM Expo on Thurs, Nov 15th. Explore a topic of your interest and create a project using scientific methods. All information is in downloaded in your science google classrooms. Print your permission slip and hand it to your science teacher for approval by Oct 30th. And if you need more incentive there are prizes for each category winner! Prizes like gift cards, phone accessories, tickets to the Maryland Science Center and more! Box Top Contest Please keep collecting box tops!! We will have a few contests throughout the year. Some for teachers and some for students. To make it fun for everyone, you can only win once. We will start off with the staff first. Please collect as many as you can and turn them in with your first and last name on the bag to the box in the front office. The winner will be announced the following week.
