This competition will run under British Riding Club Rules (2019 Handbook). It is important that all competitors are aware of the rules relating to this competition please see the current BRC Handbook and also the BRC Rule Amendments and Changes Document which can be found at the link below: http://www.bhs.org.uk/enjoyriding/british-riding-clubs/brc-rulebook All entrants must pay a prelim entry to British Riding Clubs at least 21 days before the date of the qualifier (above). Entry forms can be found on the BRC website for postal entries www.britishridingclubs.org.uk or online entries can be made via the BHS bookshop www.britishhorse.com. Late prelim entries may be accepted at the discretion of the organiser with a late surcharge if there are sufficient spaces. Late entries cannot be guaranteed therefore must not be paid for until approval from the organiser has been sought. If the date of the qualifier is cancelled for any reason, the close of prelim entry will remain. However, if the qualifier is moved more than 21 days later, entries will be reopened but late entry fees cannot be refunded. Eligibility will be approved at the original close of prelim entry. All hats must have a visible aqua hat tag in place before they are used for warming up and competing, to show that it meets the current safety standards. There will be a trained official available on the day to do this for you if your hat does not currently have one. For up to date hat rules please see the current BRC Handbook. Your horse must have up to date influenza vaccinations in line with rule G7 in the current BRC Handbook. There is also a checking device on the BRC website, but if you are unsure, please call BRC on 02476 840518. 1. If you require times early, late or together please clearly state these requests when entering. Changes to times will not be made if these are not requested on the entry form.
2. Declaration forms to be handed in to organiser 30 minutes before the first team class starts or the class starts for individuals. 3. No changes to teams will be accepted once declaration forms have been handed in. 4. No major changes will be accepted after 3pm on Wednesday 3 rd July 2019. Only straight substitutions will be accepted after this time, i.e. name of horse and/or rider taken out and replaced by another. No movements from one team to another will be allowed after this time. Times will be available on the HHRC web site the Friday prior to the competition 5. All classes run under British Riding Club rules. 6. The organisers and land owners will not hold themselves responsible for any incident or injury to riders, owners, and spectators or any other person or property whatsoever, however caused. It shall be deemed a condition of entry that each entrant shall agree to indemnify the promoters against any legal action arising from such incident. 7. Competitors must wear correct dress and hard hats complying with the BRC rules at all times when riding. Tack will be checked in accordance with BRC rules and riders will not compete if not complying. All hats to be checked and tagged. 8. The decisions of the judges and/or organisers are final. 9. Any objection must be made to the show secretary in writing within 30 minutes of closing the class, accompanied by a deposit of 10 which may be refunded. 10. Riding Clubs are respectfully reminded that a preliminary entry means a commitment to pay the area fee. 11. Please do not leave litter and droppings (from lorry park) on the showground. No mucking out of trailers. 12. All clubs are required by BRC to provide helpers in accordance with teams and refer to 13. All dogs are to be kept on leads and any dog mess is to be cleaned up and taken home. 14. Please do not leave your horse unattended and tied up outside the lorry.
